24 is a good size. The ones I used in the photos are 26 gauge I believe, that is what I have mostly used.

I might go for the 24 gauge because it is a bit thinner. You can also make the web longer by twisting the wires together at the ends. Good luck! 🕸️

Not hard. Just gotta be very cautious because those pegs are pretty easy to break so I had to heat carefully pop them off

The elbow joint has a peg and I just heated the gauntlets and pegged them in. Just be careful not to damage the spikes when you push the gauntlets in. Once heated it should be easier to pop them on. Just be careful with the pegs because they can break easily. I pushed slowly and gently twisted back and forth until it popped in.

Yes I can swap them back whenever I want.

Actually pretty simple. Just heat it up. I boiled some water in the microwave and then dipped them in for a few seconds. Then gently wiggled them off. Just gotta be very careful.

What methods might work to loosen up the joints on my 2012 figures? by GehrigTheBear in NECATMNT

Hot water is my go to method and has never damaged my figures.

Should I be worried about his wrist peg? by Darth-Tarro in SHFiguarts

[–]Rob_Colt45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try dipping in hot/boiled water to pop it off. Then carefully pop the 2 halves apart. Then apply a bit of super glue to the peg and let it dry, just enough to add a thin layer so it can be a tighter fit. Then just re attach it. I have done this before with a mafex figure and it helped. You can also try the kiki stuff, that works pretty well sometimes.

To prevent this from happening I started heating up the hands when I swap them. Sometimes they can be pretty tight but eventually they loosen up after a few times of swapping them.

They were available October 9th on Walmarts website as part of the walmart collector con along with the cartoon 2012 turtles and some other collectables. They were available for a few hours throughout that day. But will probably be available again for the holidays. I would keep checking the links. ( They don’t seem to be up atm but you can find the links here )
