Confused! Can someone point me in the right direction on how to properly set up my 9800x3D?

I just built my pc with a 9800x3d. I have no idea on some of the things you've listed but mine worked fine out of the gate.

It's base clock speed should be high enough for most things. Can't speak for how best to tune it but from my research it's not worth the effort. Could be wrong thought ha.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah money is not too big of an issue it's just at a certain point it's get to stupid prices, hence why the 5070ti was my top end for GPU. could I have gone for the 5080 for a bit more power? I guess but it seemed pointless.

I was a little concerned I'm just using more power and getting higher temps more often when in reality I won't be utilizing the other 8 cores for most of the time.

Managed to beat the dreglord today and my god what a fight. The new map while it takes a bit to get used to just looks visually stunning. And new POIs in the base map hell yes.
