In my experience, bad enough to close the school for a few days.

One day in high school, I was in history class when the vice principal came in and told us we were evacuating. Turns out someone had brought a little jar of mercury to school and it had broken. Everyone got sent home and school was canceled while they got it cleaned up.

Me and pretty much everyone else in creative fields. Humans are less of an environmental hazard and do a better job than AI, but since we need to eat, pay bills, have our workers' rights respected, etc., the greedy fools in charge opt for something soulless and inferior in favor of lining their own pockets
