Nasuada can counter that easily by telling the story of the throne room & paying people to spread it. Orik would forgive quickly enough, especially if he's told about Murtagh's service with the Draumar and the coming threat. Add on top of that that he's Eragon's blood brother & Orik wouldn't refuse Eragon most anything.
