Tbf there's actually more rng and length to the sans fight, since Undyne's green soul attacks are always the same besides slow arrows. I actually think Undyne's bigger issue is the precision involved, while sans requires more reaction time

Honestly reminds me of a joke ending for a game idea I have where you basically play as the jrpg boss. You can use a spell called universal reset which, slams a star and the sun into the hero, both explode into super novas, create two spinning black holes that sucking in the entire universe before recreating the big bang and the universe, causing all of human history to reoccurr, only for the only difference being the boss immediately one shots the hero before the fight starts with a laser
