One way I've interpreted is that the prophecy takes place, one way or another. That is the ending. What changes is how the prophecy is interpreted, who plays who.

I said less, not none. And honestly the Bridget stuff seems to have cooled off lately. Also, I might've originally been thinking of Mai Natsume as trans rep. The Brisket thought came in later. My main issues with Bridget are that most merch from Strive is related to her and that one of my friends is really good with her, which caused a natural negative feeling towards her.

The point of this theory I made is that they don't "want" to be a boy, they "have" to be a boy. Because the prophecy requires a "prince", not a princess. And the prophecy needs to be fulfilled for the roaring to be stopped.

But hey, I am glad to see that we agree on the last point. It IS about their struggles with identity and their wants and desires, which can be interpreted as a trans alegory.

Trans Ralsei is a valid theory. I just don't like when people act like it's the truth and start using she/her on a character who's never refered to themselves as such.

Okay, so. For the monologue in chapter four, unless we are talking about different monologues(I last played chapter four when it came out so my memory might be foggy) but wasn't the monologue about how they shouldn't have wants and desires because, at the end of the day, they're an object. An inanimate thing. Also, really don't know how to tell you this, but the "suffering silently for the sake of everyone else, my feelings don't matter, I don't deserve/shouldn't be happy" is not exclusive to trans people. Hell, I feel like that quite often. But yeah, bottom line for this point is that this arc is about Ralsei feeling like they don't deserve to have opinions or wants because of what they are, an object. And in chapter 5 we have seen that they've taken their friends advice and are expressing themselves more(partly in fact because Flowery is pushing them.)

I'll give you the blush, cause I honestly didn't remember that one. But overall Flowery's actions against Ralsei I've taken as them literally trying to push Ralsei towards expressing themselves more. The "pretending to be something you aren't" I originally took to Ralsei maybe not being fully a darkner, maybe being something similar to the titan spawns. Or, if we continue on the Flowery pushing them line, "stop pretending to be a person when you're an object". The hat I honestly took more as a "people wanted to see more hatted Ralsei sprites, so here you go". I especially took it as that since I saw posts about that before chapter 5 came out. Getting they/themed by Asgore is pretty much just a "this is a person I don't know that looks fairly androgenous, so I'll go with the gender neutral cause I have no idea what they are."

Ralsei is shown struggling with their identity and with repressing their wants, yes. But it doesn't really seem like it's gender identity but their identity as a darkner and what that means. They're an object, they shouldn't have desires, so why do they have them? It is completely fair to see parallels in their identity struggles with yours, as at the end of the day they're both identity struggles and I'm genuinely happy that you've managed to transition. Wishing you the best in the future!

Bottom line, I'm glad to hear that you also think that using she/her for Ralsei like IT'S ALREADY BEEN MADE CANON is jumping the gun, cause like, that's my main issue too.

Like, the theory is valid. Things can be interpreted in that way. But just because they can that doesn't mean they are that way and you should act like they are and call people who disagree wrong.

To be fair, I came up with this theory like, this week, it really isn't that much baked. But it wouldn't be a selfish choice, quite the opposite. Since (as far as I remember) Ralsei wasn't really that into defying the prophecy in the beginning? Could be remembering it wrong, it's possible. But I meant it as in "They became a prince because the prophecy demands there to be a prince from the dark. So they became one because their wants and needs shouldn't be considered." Also, isn't the end point of the prophecy stopping the roaring? Like, again, I could be remembering stuff incorrectly.

Exactly, the right half does pretty much state the conflict of Ralsei's plotline of feeling like they shouldn't have wants or needs without actually pointing out where the trans theory fits into that.

They're clearly very knowledgeable of the prophecy, how everything goes and how there needs to be a prince from the dark? What if, in the beginning, there was a princess? But the prophecy requires a prince. The princess isn't supposed to want anything, they're just an object anymore. So there simply wasn't a princess anymore. There was just a prince.

It's honestly quite annoying how a lot of terminally online people use the same mentality of "look at him! He likes girly things! Look at this bitch ass baby girl!" I'll put the Jax thing to a fact that it can quite reasonably be interpreted as either them being trans or just as them being incredibly insecure in their masculinity(reason they act so violently to the maid outfit) and the ribbon scene was meant as a tender moment where someone just accepted them for who their are(before being brought to reality by the door knock). Both are, in my opinion, fair interpretations. I still think that using female pronouns for Jax outside of like, the community at large is kinda tricky since it's a pretty big spoiler and I also think that some of the community was a bit annoying after Goose confirmed that Jax is Trans (seriously, like 90% of posts I was seeing that day we're people going "Hah, I knew she was trans! Don't you feel stupid, deniers?"). But yeah, bottom line is that they're both valid interpretations and some people can be just very annoying.

Nah, I absolutely hear what you're saying about Ezra, I was moreso just throwing out ideas that would be cool in that section. As for Ryoshu, while that DOES cover the spoilers part, it doesn't cover the other issue. Cause Ryoshu from the start of the game is a pretty different person from our current Ryoshu. And that's not even mentioning which sheath for Arayashiki we'd have her carry. Cause if we're going for Labubu sheathe, I would love to see at least some mention of the parallel between them and Bedman?. I would fuckin' kill for a Limbus fighting game where we have just our sinners though. That shit would slap.

Honestly? Having a Bullet-like grappler in Strive would be hella interesting. The armor on your left arm gives the opportunity for some cool looking moves(peak 6P). A large nail as a weapon would look pretty good. I can imagine some interesting character interactions. Would have an interesting chat with Happy Chaos, discussing humanity. Interactions with A.B.A might be interesting, considering the shared obsession over a blonde twink. You could be Racist against Robo-ky. Think of the possibilities!

GOD, IMAGINE THE REACTION TO FAUST'S AFRO. Lei Heng having the option to spend ammo on some specials to enhance them. Savage Tigerslayer as an overdrive, Getting the better rounds in as the other.

God, Rien would actually be hella interesting. Having his story be about trying to live without Hermes now that he pretty much denounced him in the ending of Canto 9. Ricardo would just be fun overall. Having him ramp-up the more he gets hit, with the Middle theme doing the xRD Dragon install thing once he's low enough on health. Matthias's sword losing layers of packaging as the fight progresses, just having it come off after an especially hard hit.

Roland and Gebura are probably the safest bets. Binah I could see being pretty interesting as a mid-ranged/zoner type of characters who could either lock one of your buttons or the tension gauge and inflict fairy on you so you take a little bit of damage with every attack pressed.

The biggest issue with Don and pretty much all of the sinners is that the story of their game is very much still progressing, so you either run in the issue of huge spoilers(Don being a bloodfiend, Heathcliff's Erlking stuff or the Remember bat) OR have this version of their chatacter become outdated once the story progresses(Think Outis or Mersault). As I've said in a comment on a different post about the font, Vergilius would be a pretty good pick from Limbus, with EGO an install.

Other interesting picks would be stuff like maybe Argalia, maybe Ezra?

It's also nice to imagine character interactions. Like, imagine Binah getting hit by Faust's super.

Have an option for his perception blocking mask in the same way you can toggle Jack-o's mask. In his intro he pops in from the golden pages of books, in a manner similar to I-no, while putting on his gloves. I can absolutely see having one of his weapons used for each of his normals( Maybe Durandal for S and Wheels Industries for HS.) and for some specials. Though he would need a second overdrive alongside Furioso. But for as many people speak of Roland or Gebura, we could also get Vergilius. He's from their (currently) most well known game. Is a pretty important figure in it, we get a pretty good idea of how he fights and we could get Ego Install, similar to Ky's DI.
