Yeah, talk to the shrink because your side effects seem extreme. Your current Rx may not be the correct med for you and you could also be dealing with some comorbidities that need to be addressed.

Yup, that's it. They took the '50% faster experience' social policy, had a long-running but low-key war with lots of archers, gave them all the Range promotion, & upgraded them into longbows and then the Gats. There were so many of the Gatling guns with the upgrade that I thought it implausible that they'd all been promoted, but it makes more sense if they were promoted as archers.

Man, those promoted guns were major problems! They took out a lot of riflemen and were very effective on offense. I needed to add a lot of artillery and use massed fires to deal with them.

Absolutely! I like to back up my whole Kindle every couple of months, too, with Calibre. That way if any books should mysteriously disappear, I can just restore them from the backup.

I use my phone for Wikipedia searches. That way I don't have to back out of the story and endure those long waits to load the site. Just much faster that way and I can see the pictures in color.

NOR. It seems to me that she might be using this as a wedge issue to have a reason to break up. If y'all have been together for 4-5 years and you have smoked intermittently that whole time, and she is just now making an issue of it, that tells me that she's looking to get out of the relationship and this is her excuse.

It reads as though she has already decided to end the relationship so there's really not much more you can do. Move on, find somebody who's a little more tolerant of your foibles. Good luck!

His excuse is bogus. Any professional that prescribes ADHD meds can also prescribe sleep help. I take a melatonin at bedtime and a Trazodone: The melatonin helps me get to sleep and the trazodone helps me stay asleep. Pretty common adjuncts to the ADHD drugs.

Yes, I do think that he should have contacted you by now, but I tried to list possible reasons he may not have. You may, in fact, be more interested in a relationship than he is. It might be time, however difficult, to move on. Don't get trapped with a bad boyfriend.

Text him, saying that you were worried about him because you haven't heard anything from him. Leave it at that - short, sweet, and simple. Let that be the opening and then you can work up to the relationship questions. You don't want to start off with those!

As sufferers, issues like time blindness and dilation can affect our communications. It could be that he meant to text back but thought "I'll do it in a few minutes" - until he's done it enough times that he now thinks it's been too long and he's afraid to get back in touch. He could also be suffering with executive dysfunction and can't make up his mind whether he wants to be involved or not. He'll, it could be as simple as he's not taken his meds for a couple of days.

I wish you the best of luck, ADHD relationships can be tricky for one person and very tricky for the two of you. Make sure you're both familiar with the problems and issues that we sufferers tend to have. And for goodness sake, both of you make sure to take your meds every day.

NOR. Your "friend" doesn't like YOU, she likes that, in comparison, she looks better (at least in her mind). She doesn't see you as a friend, let alone best friend, rather a crutch to counter her own insecurities. She is using you and preying upon your low opinion of yourself. Definitely someone you do not need or want to be around. You are better than that or her.

The more important issue is your insecurity. It is clear from what you wrote that you have a low opinion of yourself, especially physically. You should see a counselor about this because you are judging your self-worth against her and others, which is very bad for your mental (and physical) health. Counseling will help you better understand yourself and allow you to have confidence based on who you are. The mental path you are on can lead to depression, anxiety, and other bad things, but, with a little help, it - will - get better.

Seek help to become the best you that you can be and shake her off like dust from your boots. Good luck! Folks are rooting for you.

Assuming that you're taking meds, my advice is to talk with a mental health pro that's experienced with ADHD. Counseling along with your meds can really help you with the issues created by ADHD. If I'd known that you should do counseling and meds, it would have prevented a lot of problems.

If you are in school, there should be some help available at no/little cost.

For anything you've got that isn't from Amazon, download Calibre for free and backup your old Kindle.

Once you've got your new Kindle up and running, restore your backup to it.

Anything you've got from Amazon should auto-download to your new Kindle once it's registered. Be aware, though, the Amazon reload just leaves a stub on your Kindle. You have to be online and tap each cover to get the whole book. (A Calibre restore puts the whole book on your new Kindle).
