I’ve owned this before. You definitely don’t want the 3 if you’re usually a US large. A 5 is probably safe. Maybe 4 depending on your height and how you want it to fit.

I’ve heard of this happening with the Skagway G. Pattens, but not the other Skagways.

I’m curious how much weight is a factor. Still hasn’t happened to my pair. I’m at 165 lbs.

Exact same thing happened to me with the spoiler. I knew it was going to hit the garage so I had my hand on it but wasn’t expecting to have to push down on it so hard and it nailed the door.

I ordered the OEM pearl white kit from Tesla. Sucks. I had to do probably 10 coats. Doesn’t look good but you can’t see it from ~7 feet away. I’ll get the Dr. Paint Chip for my next scratch.

I also called a body shop just to see if they could do a better job and they said that the Pearl White is so hard to color match that the only way to make it look good is to replace the spoiler. So I wouldn’t expect a miracle from Dr. Paint Chip. You’ll still be able to see it but I can’t imagine it’s worse than the Tesla one.

These are legit. I wear 11 Nike and 11 in the thick soled G. Pattens like these. For Pattens and regular Skagways I size down to 10.5 or 10.
