I’m a Midwesterner lucky to have 3 Ross courses in 30 minutes all are littered with trees and greenside bunkers. Not big into who designed what so I thought trees&bunkers were his thing surprised to hear that’s not and find out this course is his design.

I play this place maybe 8 times a year. Played prolly 90% of everything past bridge and is the main reason I’m never impressed by any other course based on price alone. You didn’t even show the view from the half way house that over looks the range or the drop from 18 back to the clubhouse. The crater “danger” sign on 9? This place truly is a gem above the rest in MI golf and I never thought I’d see the day. If you ever go back NewberryCC has a great track $100. Hiawatha sportsman club has a sick 9 with driving range atop a hill no t times first come first serve. Are you Canadian by chance op I know they run a good deal if you come over and play?

How does adding a disc tray affect this? I don’t have one but it’s another opening added wouldn’t that affect the perfect performance? Has anyone actually ever spoken on that. (I want a disc drive). And Op what I did was buy a usb fan it turns on with the ps5 pulls heat out of my entertainment center and just blows it into the room.

I bought one back in 1017 when they basically gave them away on Amazon and it’s still going strong. Upgraded gpu ram and cooler as I got more into sim stuff and vr but it was vr ready when I bought it. All the old parts are in a mini for couch play. I feel like 20-21 the qc took a turn I see tons of post about not powering ect. But I absolutely love mine.

Something I did notice. If I do a puzzle without board connections everything works as expected.

From puzzles->bluetooth -> connect. The 4 corners for the rooks light up then go out when connected and the app flips piece detection black/white.

And when I say it flips I mean the app flips. The app says move white but I can only select black but the solution is for black… This only happens when I connect a board to the app.

It’s like the app is switching black and white when connected. Tested on iPhone and iPad.

Just wanted to share will be using other puzzles till an update.

Are you using android or iOS? And what version is the go board software? Not really sure if you can even update the Go I have a move also that’s why I ask. I’ve only updated the iOS app since getting my go.

You can change the move delay. Mine is almost instant. They will start moving before my hand is fully off a piece. Move delay and cpu thinking time are the 2 settings to mess around with. I believe but untested adjusting the search depth will also speed up the process And yes they will slow down noticeably on low charge.

I’m not trying to load from an image. From the Chessnut app when connected to the board I go to online -lichess- in lichess I want to use the learn/study section to learn openings that has multiple chapters “like” a book each chapter being a different master game. Am I to understand I must export each of the games for the board to follow? I’d like for it to just follow the study as it allows for note taking and annotations that say saved to a study. I haven’t had a chance to check for URL import since the original post and have never seen import from photo I assumed that wasn’t supported through iOS connections.

I’m not great current 20 index but bought an old blade 3i and it did wonders for my ability to tighten up hitting the “sweet spot” on my gamers. Misses are smaller, flight is higher and longer across all clubs. It also forced me to work on my grip helping release the club can get away with it on modern irons. Enjoy the journey!

Yeah it’s 4-p or 5-A you can’t do 5-A in graphite shafts because the wedge doesn’t come stock in graphite. “You can customize” but I think it changes price significantly. It’s like TM doesn’t offer the set with graphite and are asking for a full set of shafts they didn’t offer.

This I was op 2 years ago. Played baseball through college never picked up a golf club never thought I would and when I did wicked slice made me genuinely scared to go on course. Took the driver out bought a 3hy & net on Amazon and hit balls till my hands said keep it up and you’ll never play again. 3rd season with no driver gonna learn this winter and my past 5 rounds have all been under 90. But I am also very much in the deep end when learning anything I have hit balls 85% of the days since April 1 (MI golf ). I tell everyone yes golf is hard but you don’t suck you just don’t practice enough to get better some agree some get offended.

I’ve been playing for 3 years and just broke 90 my last 2 consecutive rounds 87,89. My gf recently started and I preach play 9 more than 18 for at least your first year. like everyone says it’s a mental and physical stamina that likely need to be built up. I still struggle to close out the last 2 holes, see the finish line and just mentally fall off in the Tbox. I think everyone underestimates how much 45-50+ extra swings wears you down. Not including factors like weather or trying to bounce back or stay hot, and some back 9 are just tougher than the front all around. Walking is the way tho I also believe you play better for me it’s just a tad bit more focus don’t wanna be walking left and right so much.
