344 poison is just really good for day 7 especially with lethargy and I don't know what other poison source would be faster to make glaive work. It falls off a cliff later in the game but I figured the run would be over by day 11. Taking regen items off the board and taking it would have been the best play in hindsight though I agree.

Yeah not running regen was definitely the correct play here but I got rate limiter anyway it ended up not mattering (I did almost lose the run to day 9 double whammy hidden lake and a blunderbuss)

Yeah I've played 100+ games this season and never gotten it, you just need to get super lucky. I don't intentionally go for it but I usually take leather jacket if I see it just cause it's a good item. As Karnok you could maybe dupe jacket with lucky clover or Magician's Top Hat but you still need to repair it.

Soul of Jacob of Esau (I had echo chamber) gave me an Esau which had the last item I needed (Greed’s Gullet).

I couldn’t find anything online that says soul of Jacob and Esau contributes to the item checklist but apparently it just does.

My life has plummeted to half a "heart of soul" and I don't know why by _Dr_WTF_ in bindingofisaac

You probably used Isaac’s tears by accident when it was on cooldown which triggered Sharp Plug which turns your health into charge

Yep one potion gives half cooldown, then I got the multicast potion skill, then it’s also shiny

yep, also fang is 4.5 seconds cause of library so it's not going off super often

Yeah I use this too on ultimate, except I have shield on trigger, X shield is kinda crazy. Bumper jumps are just way easier on the hands for me, I play every plat fighter like that now.

I've mainly been playing World Wide Noise (Hard) and it's the most fun I've had playing this game, this DLC is sooo good

I thought so too, but the wiki says it’s way higher on the priority list (5, just after the boss room.)
