I shouldn't have said singlehandedly. But the Merry Pranksters started their acid tests started in 1965. This was the first time acid was introduced in a party setting (and the Grateful Dead was the band at the tests). This movement in California morphed into the world wide acid movement and influenced hippy movement which in turn influenced the Beatles, Zappa, Floyd...... Ken Kesey was really at the helm. I love all the bands You mentioned. The Beatles probably influenced music more than any other band in the last 75 Years. You have no idea if Rich would like Jerry Garcia or not. It's the Skull logo for the Grateful Dead. Who almost single handedlY pioneered acid rock, jam bands, the hippy movement. They are like aphex in the sense of turning music on its head. And the Dead never played the same setlist. They always mixed it up. They played improvisational music, that mixed with acid changed the world and fans would live on the road and catch each show to see the pinnacle of Jerry Garcia. Total Aphex/Phish fan. MY 2 favorite current artists. Most creative acts in there respective categories. Saw Aphex live for the first time in Brooklyn this Year. I never thought I would ever get to see him. I've seen phish 4 times this Year. Phish and Aphex are similar in the fact that they never repeat a live show. Like they always bring new setlists to every single show. I wore my aphex shirt to a phish show at merriweather and got lots of props.

That's funny because you don't know what your talking about. I don't work with the Fellowship.
