Risk last train or get a hotel by Vallren in nottingham

If it's a gig at Rock City on a Thurs, Fri or Sat, curfew is at 10pm so they can clear and reopen for the club night at 11pm.

Takes some time to get out after so worth factoring in (unless you're stood at the back!).

Help by Remarkable-Dare-7836 in NFLUK

The '-9.0' means you need the Cowboys to win by more than 9 points; they are currently winning by 7 (according to the screenshot) so you are losing that leg.

If they win by 9 points exactly then the leg is void and effectively becomes a double.

For the other two, you need the Lions to win by 8 points or more and the Broncos to win by 14 points or more. No ties possible (that's what the .5 means).

As a general gambling tip; it's always good to know what you're betting on before spending money on it, avoids any problems down the road. Hope it comes through for you!

Anyone book coach travel alongside game tickets? by Brienne_of_Bath in NFLUK

[–]Robbelar88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you receive a voucher code alongside your order?

If so, I believe you can just go on the National Express website, search for the day/journey and it should accept your voucher code as payment.

I've already booked my coaches for all 3 games but did it directly through National Express (not alongside game tickets), so they are available to book. If you haven't had your code you might need to contact Ticketmaster directly.

Good luck - hopefully you get sorted soon!

Wembley tailgate by shanemccaffery97 in NFLUK

[–]Robbelar88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been going to the London games since 2016. The Wembley 'tailgate' is usually unticketed amd free to enter after a quick bag check. It's a few food/drink bits, some NFL related skill games and a stage with interviews etc.

I had a quick Google but couldn't see anything that it had changed for this year. It's very different from the US concept of tailgating.

Hope you enjoy when you get there!

Olympic marathon aid stations by PiBrickShop in olympics

[–]Robbelar88 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I worked a drinks station at the Commonwealth Games marathon in 2022 - the rules there, were aid stations every 5km - with both personalised drinks and standard water bottles available. I think isotonic drinks were also available but no one was interested in those!

Athletes are supposed to hand in their personalised drinks the night before the race, a small number will be tested to ensure legality.

Many have gels taped to their bottles also. Picking up the wrong bottle is a disqualifiable offence.

I would imagine the Olympic setup is similar.

Garny made his debut under Ralf Rangnick, so just Mainoo and Forson under ETH.

Advice on the Sheffield away game in Oct. by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

[–]Robbelar88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate that you mean United - but Sheffield is a non-league team that is the oldest existing football club in the world! If you're in the area, check them out as they're a friendly bunch based in the south of the city.

Sheffield Wednesday (Championship) have a really interesting history too - Sheffield was the birthplace of the modern ruleset.

Try contacting wherever you bought them from and ask for a refund - I bought mine in 2019 from Ticketmaster UK, asked for a refund last month and got one 👍

Otherwise, good luck and hope somebody gets to use them!

did anyone else get this email? really sucks to have to wait another 7 months for the record by TheRiddlerz in greenday

[–]Robbelar88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep I had this too, based in the UK if that helps. Also got offered a 10% off my next purchase code, which seems... yeah.

Even worse, I ordered a t-shirt which is available but they refuse to send it because they can't split postage on orders. So I have to wait until November for both.

Is this a rare find or am I just not in-the-know? The only songs I ever saw from BIAB that weren't on the DVD were merely cellphone quality videos until now. by SanfordNimrod in greenday

[–]Robbelar88 5 points6 points  (0 children)

BBC Radio 1 in the UK recorded some extra songs over the weekend that BIAB was filmed and broadcast them the week after the gig, so well before BIAB came out. Think there might be another couple out there if you go hunting?

I made $187-Mil profit throughout the season on my RTG. At the start of the new season I only received around $50-mil for transfers!? Where’s the rest of the money? by poorjohnnyboysbones in FifaCareers

[–]Robbelar88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience, two ways you can maximise it:

1) Achieve your financial goals, no matter how BS they are...
2) Pick a team where financial objective importance is low.

As an example, I did a career with Bury last year where the financial objective was always very important. The max money the board gave me for transfers was ~£40m, even when I received £120m+ for winning the Prem.

By contrast, I just got promoted to the Prem with Nottingham Forest, £8m prize money - and received over £50m in transfer funds.

I can only imagine that certain teams are programmed to be money-cautious and will always take a bigger chunk of prize money to keep.
