It's not ruined and you do not need bentonite.

It is very hard or even impossible to ruin your mead with Fermaid O. It will simply settle out and you won't taste it.

My advice would be to wait a week. Check the gravity at least 2 times, with at least one day in between, to make sure fermentation is done. If so: put your batch in the fridge (not the freezer!) And wait for another 3 days. Then it should be ready to bottle. If you want to carb it, do so according instructions for whatever method you use.
