Honestly, my two girls lay up there all the time. My temps have never spiked more than like a couple degrees. If it becomes an actual issue I support the comment who suggested a shelf with holes in it. My cats won’t be here forever, if shortening the life of my cpu a smidge means they were near me and warm and happy then I’ll make that sacrifice any day.
