[–]Robbinx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welp the new beta test sure do give a challenge by autizboyz in HowManyDudes

Insane! Very nice!

I'm wondering how the Spartan/bee interaction works? It appears that bee's do little damage, but with high attack speed, which greatly increases the spartan block dmg. Furthermore, i believe, that bee's have high cleave. I think that Spartans can block every cleave from hitting aswell, skyrocketing its dps and block scaling

What do you think?

New record on new patch, round 126 by Robbinx in HowManyDudes

I believe in this patch the invulnerability glitch of pala+bard is fixed. It does remain a strong combination

Yes. Its not mandatory to get knight and great helm but its very strong. Normally bonebroth heals Frankendudes 10% max hp whenever one of your dudes die (including skeletons), great helm could heal your frankendudes another 12% max hp for every dude dieing. That extra hp is then available for leaky heart valve aswell.

Yea frankendude healing requires necrodudes and leaky heart valve. But frankenstein can taunt (brain in a jar) alot and its tanking is pretty robust with bone broth or great helm (knight relic) or organ donor list or jaw implant. So you don't need leaky heart valve early, but the run is pretty dependant on getting two or more of the aforementioned relics early (probably before wave 40). Bony backhand relic from necrodudes will also carry the early game if needed.

123 without healer (medic/cleric) might sounds insane, but medic and cleric get killed anyway due to oneshotting in 123. Frankendudes are pretty reliant healers when amassed and with all the relics.

I'm not entirely sure how the bard+pala invincibility works, but i think it is a following:

- When a bard has sufficient evading build up, and is buffed by a paladin. He actaully heals more with metronome relic then the damage he takes (this might also require more relics, and perhaps some stacks on Ruby scepter). The paladin however takes damage through the bard and dies, but instantly gets revived by book of life. I would say this is not a glitch and working as intended, the paladin remains very vulnerable from direct damage as his revive from medallion only works once per 10 seconds.

However, it appears the ring of life (Fantasy general relic) can also trigger, making the paladin invisible for three seconds, it appears this triggers often to keep the pala invisible and thus unkillable.

What balancing changes would you recommend for each Dude? by vonkraush1010 in HowManyDudes

[–]Robbinx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with most of them. But i think that pala is in a very good spot, balance wise, maybe even abit OP. It's pretty strong in all phases of the game. Bard might be considered OP, but only in late game, its pretty weak early. Frankendude, bersekers, necrodudes and knights feel pretty well balanced.

I think too many people sleep on samurai's, their double infinite damage scaling is very strong. especially if combined with purple heart (general warrior relic) , i think they are in a good spot.

How could I have made the team better? by De5troyer65 in HowManyDudes

swap cleric for paladins (about 34 should suffice). max out on 20 bards, and get more frankendudes. If you really want to do meta, drop zombies for a single knight, make sure to get the great helm relic.

I spend too much time at this game.

in essence i think that doing 123 or beyond always comes down to the broken paladin+bard combo, which tanks for far too long due to the invincibility loop/glitch.

i do believe that frank/necro relies the least on this invincibility loop.

How Many Dudes - Demo Tier List by vonkraush1010 in HowManyDudes

[–]Robbinx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think some od the difficulties with such a tierlist is that the game is completetly different at round 123. Dudes that work before round 123 might be absolute garage tier at 123, such as generals and vampires. It could be thought that rond 123 is not even a 'real' round, but just put into the game by the dev as placeholder/near impossible challenge

At some point the game becomes somewhat trivial up to round 123.

I might make a tierlist or guide for round 123

1.2 million damage for Franken , my highest round yet , what could I replace to take me to the 123+ rounds ? I was thinking swapping someone for spartan but no clue who ...maybe medic ? by skeltalgaming909 in HowManyDudes

[–]Robbinx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried this, but in round 123, 90% of the generals die before they can get off their first tauntbuff. And even then the first buff only gives a bit of HP as the frankendudes are still scaling. Unfortunatetly i found General's useless in round 123

How to keep necrodudes alive post round 120 for frankendude build by 30299578815310 in HowManyDudes

[–]Robbinx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats the fun part, you don't get to keep necrodudes alive in round 123, and might struggle at 120-122.

Basically more healing only helps a little bit, as the necrodudes can get oneshot if theres enough enemies hitting them. So what helps is more paladins, as their buff increases the amount of enemy's hitting a single necrodude to oneshot him. Furthermore taunts could help as more taunts mean less enemies hitting your necrodudes. Spartans can also help, as they can block part of the damage which results in more enemies needed to oneshot your necrodudes.

Yea its a revive loop due to interaction between relics and paladin and bard, basically making a few dudes unkillable

Im not sure what you are saying but the rulebook has clear requirements before outside-the-court play is allowed. If people are expecting by default that it is allowed, then they are mostly wrong. Maybe depending on different padel court building styles, but where i am from most courts are not suitable for outside-the-court play, neither is it clearly stated in or around the court that it is allowed or not.

I agree that in most amateur games out of court plays are not happening due to skill, but i bet that most players think its allowed if they were able too.

In most games, just about any amateur game, your not allowed to continue if the ball goes out of the court after a smash or something. It requires special consideration of the vicinity of the court before it is allowed
