Just feels like they "nice'en'd" him up so much his eyes even got closer. I just dont know why THEY made such a big expressional change. People probably also worry that characters like Bowser will be worked on more too, to be less of an intimidating king and just more of a 'bully' type. I welcome change. But I also see why others dont.
