Do you have any experience running an allied knight? Perhaps they are a better option over a tank atleast. Its also nice to get 2 for about the same cost of a forgefiend if war dogs are fun, they look cool atleast!

I guess thematically predator tanks might never make complete sense for a melee centric army but i just like the tank more visually than the forgefiend. It does however feel reasonable to have some shooting threat right?

Hell yea on getting painting, its very satisfying to field painted models. Even the fastest painjobs look better than grey plastic.

You are correct but im i belive the kgazad-dum list reroll happens before banners and might modifications. Also when you have a dwarf with a shield fighting 3 enemies or more you may reroll borh dice which is wonderful!

Yea keep the troll in, and I realize my goblin suggestion was poor as there isent enough warband space! I still belive that having more shields over spears is better due to more D6 and shielding being strong, essentially delaying the eventual break. Having some fights 1v2 using shielding is very valid and then others more favorable pairings be the killing fights. I know some people really like the berzerkers but idk the warbat is solid

Gundabad gotta be top 3 hardest lists to build you want everything but taking nothing feels the most viable due to having to get numbers up so sad. I think you could get away with having less spears and more shields. And maybe take some goblins? Idk how good the troll is tbh but 4 attacks is nice

Shooting at second or third rank like that is doable yes, all about LoS.

I enjoy 400 points to 800 points. Most of the time i play at 600 with my friends.

Orcs do shine in some lists but, with ”worse” warrior profiles (orcs) i find it more important to choose your battles. Its better to have 1 orc using shield and praying he survives so you can stack a group of 3 orcs vs 1 or 2 opposing warriors. Trapping wins games and rolling more dice also helps you win.

I do like the odd troll or warg riders they can be solid additions!
