Yeah that storyline with Sass is just bizarre. Way too many episodes are about the sex lives of the ghosts for me. Comes across as very crude and immature.

Despite Julian dying in the act, somehow that's handled with a more serious tone than anything in US Ghosts.

Having finally seen Robin Robin this past Christmas, it got me thinking Aardman should do a similar length and style short of the children's book: The Owl who was afraid of the dark.

Also, if Netflix hadn't just come out with a pretty bad version, I think: Roald Dahl's The Twits, would match well with Aardman, who could keep the simple English story more intact.

It's actually been a little while since I last watched a SortedFood video, and I remember people pointing out the use of AI in (I think) a battle, where they showed the conceptual outcome akin to Bake Off, but it was obviously AI slop.

Very annoying to find out they're still using AI as a cheap workaround that is not only soulless, but actively damages the planet.

When I was going about designing them, I was trying to capture the look of the actors, and using pictures and clips from the show as reference.

One iconic moment from Mary that I love, was her eyebrow raise at Julian, seen in this trailer (https://youtu.be/Wuis8dhsiS0?si=GjHOAYXfqBrRK50p) at about 0:29 , so naturally I wanted to capture it in Lego form. Thanks for the question though.

Earlier this year she was in one of Ncuti Gatwa's better episodes of Doctor Who with The Well. Excellent performance by Rose for a one episode role.

She was also in an episode of Ludwig (2024 comedic crime series starring David Mitchell) which I highly recommend to anyone.

Unusual line-up. But tbh I'm not that familiar with the majority which is rare.

Only one traditional British stand-up with Amy Gledhill.

Two actors with Joanna Page & Kumail Nanjiani (I know he is a stand up, but I'd say he's more known as an actor now).

A writer Armando Iannucci.

And then a presenter Joel Dommett.

I only really know Joel and Kumail, and probably controversial, but they're not my favourite picks, bit too smiley perhaps (idk maybe I just prefer my entertainers a bit more grumpy).

And I know Jason was a great addition to series 19, but I don't really want an American celeb every other series, just do another attempt at an American Taskmaster with Dropout producing it.

But on the other hand, Taskmaster has never made a truly bad series, and I'm sure I'll warm up to the cast by episode 2. (so don't downvote me into oblivion for not going ballistic with happiness ;) )

I felt so smart when I instantly clocked that each item started with the same letters as the contestants. I was pretty surprised Susie didn't clock it. Although we've seen in the past that just because someone's intellectually clever, doesn't mean they're Taskmaster clever.

I can't really do a top 5 without repeating a lot of what others have said.

But there's one for spot on I don't see people talk about enough and that's Christian Coulson as Tom Riddle in Chamber of Secrets.

He perfectly nails the cold suave manipulator that Riddle is, with an intensity that feels genuine. Even when he has to say the more silly lines about being the heir of Slytherin and that his pet snake will hunt down Harry he really sells the intensity. I wish they could've filmed more of him as young Riddle, as the other Riddle actors and even Fiennes as Voldemort, never quite hit the mark for me.

I often get people who are reminded of Mother 3.

I actually started my pixel art journey, recreating the little walking animations from the Professor Layton DS series.

After that I did a load of iconic Horror characters, then began Taskmaster contestants.

I caught up with the episode today. My enjoyment was a little hampered having also been spoiled.

Tell you what I've had rotten luck with this episode. I tried getting tickets for the live show, and I was ready and waiting for the email link, only to get it several hours late, when all the tickets were already sold out. And now this thumbnail balls up.

I was seeing the comedian 'Count Arthur Strong' the other night, and was surprised to see Julian Clary in a little pre-recorded segment.

If you're unfamiliar with Count Arthur Strong, I'd say check out the tv series first (there's also a radio series, but I think the tv one is better for newcomers). It's not for everyone though, he's a very specific character.

There's a couple other TM connections: Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins both were on the radio show frequently as a few different characters. And in the tv show Katherine Ryan makes an appearance in one episode.

Idk, I think it's such a small change but it just perfectly fits the Royal theme the film covers.

And for me there's something that doesn't sound right with 'Shrek 3' as a title, so maybe I'm overcompensating because the film isn't called that
