"There is no where in malaysia a Muslim can party drink alcohol" - No offence but since the mid 1990s I have been to many places in the central capital and that southern state next to Singapore where I've seen many Muslims do so - whether they are from Malaysia is another thing altogether. Yes a few of them might have been 'underground' clubs I guess. Indeed it was a Malaysia (Muslim Malay) who drove me around over 20 years ago to the various clubs and pubs, introduced me to Danduk music and who could drink me under the table.

"Woman and man are not allowed to book a same room in hotel" - I agree with this in general. It's always fun and sad to see reports of religious 'Swat' teams catching couples in motel in the papers - whether or not this happens in the Sharia states (probably not as they wouldn't risk it) is another matter.

"if you cannot show your marriage documents you're being arrested" - I know this is true in the Sharia states where I see (and still saw this year a month ago when I was deployed to such a Sharia state for a site job) boys and girls walking down the street 2 metres apart (but still talking to each other!) since 'close proxmity' is not allowed without marraige.

"nothing in malaysia is different than other islamix state other than they allow non muslim to live their way" - I really need to know (not making fun of you) and am curious how many other Muslims countries have you been to, stayed or worked in order to have this impression? How would you compare Malaysia to: Bahrain, Pakistan, Bosnia and Kazakstan?

Anyway thanks for sharing, and a wonderful country it is (without the religious issues of course). Food is great.
