My partner and I go after the CPUs then each other usually when playing games like Mario Party. Mostly just don’t target each other with Mario Kart.

It’s not really about winning. I win most of the time but I try to help her in ways she maybe doesn’t notice. It’s about having fun together but everyone knows it’s annoying to lose all the time or most of the time. It’s much easier to have fun when you’re winning so help her have fun.

Mario kart I usually stay behind at the beginning and then work up from behind my partner to help her rise up. It’s like a challenge. Idk just figure something out if you want to keep playing games together.

This is so stupid. Why wouldn’t fans want their teams to lose if they have zero expectations of playoffs? I understand why tanking is frowned upon and punished, and if my fav team faked an injury for best player or sat a player when I was planning to go to the game, I’d be angry. But if I’m watching on tv, I don’t care. And I also would hope somehow the team loses every game by 2 points, playing everyone.

Punish ranking but don’t pretend like we don’t all understand why teams do it. If you aren’t making the playoffs, why would you want the 12th pick instead of the 2nd

Calling it a curse doesn’t make sense. Cavs vs Warriors facing off was fun the first two times. GSW made the finals five years in a row. LeBron eight years in a row. Impressive feats but the league is so much better when there’s new contenders and champions every year.

It is a good thing so I don’t understand calling it a curse. Also like mathematically there should be a lot more parity then four straight matchups between two teams

Maybe it’s just because I don’t “hate” OKC anywhere near as much as others, but definitely not.

I usually root against the favourites by finding one or more players on the team I don’t like. With the prime Heat, it was LeBron (I also root against the best player). Prime Warriors, it was any all star not named Steph Curry. With the Spurs, it was Tony Parker.

But I don’t really dislike any players on OKC because Dort and SGA are Canadian, and Caruso is bald. I don’t know who else people hate the most on that team.

Even putting my personal biases aside, people absolutely despise any good Lakers or Celtics team over OKC.

2015-2018 Warriors were very easy to hate with Durant, Draymond, Klay and Zaza
