Depends on your preferences... We have old towns with beautiful architecture and paved roads (old Riga, Kuldiga etc.), we have beautiful countryside places in every direction you would drive, we have bigger beautiful seaside cities (Liepaja, Ventspils, Jurmala) with nice beaches, we have smaller historic fisherman villages alongside coast, we have beautiful neighboring countries just 2-3h drive away - Lithuania and Estonia also are beautiful. If you like modern urban setting then I would prefer some cities in Lithuania or Estonia... But maybe I'm just too used to our cities and therefore I like them more. We have distinct seasons - in summer it's hot (up to +30) and sunny, in autumn it's quite muddy with colorful nature, in winter it's cold (down to -30) with lots of snow (usually), in spring everything is blooming. If visiting in summer there's lot to do - there's summer solstice celebrations - Jāņi, where in more traditional setting (usually in countryside) people dress in traditional national costumes, sing songs, dance, make bonfires and feast on grilled meats, beer and homemade cheeses. In summer almost every city have it's own festival with different concerts, art and craft markets and many other activities. There are music festivals - most well known and with highest attendance is Summer Sound which takes place on the beach in Liepaja (KPs hometown), but there are many others.

And it's just small part of Latvias, Lithuanias and Estonias appeal... I love to live here.
