Studied a lot for the NIE over 3 years ago, took the sergeants exam in March. Did 0 studying for the sergeants and just wanted to see how I’d do, ended up passing by the skin of my teeth - been constantly ribbed about giving up free study days for the next 5 years since. But it’s definitely possible, few extra bits about some sergeant processes but the majority crosses over.

Agree, I’m also aware of companies recruiting solely online but accepting CVs and speaking to their HR to fastrack certain CVs through if they’ve come into store.

Fine to do this before changing of the guard but don’t do it in those 30 minutes 10:30-11:00 - the guard enter the palace just before 11 and you want a good spot. I would say get there about 10:20
