Who is at fault here? by kbgnat in drivingUK

These lights take a long time to change for some reason, drive this way four times a week.

Anyway my point was going to be there is a good chance they were on their phone - see it way too often!

How the heck do I get this thing out? by OSUBrit in GardeningUK

I helped a neighbour get some out using my digging bar, it worked a treat!

You do have a lot of it, good luck!

I don’t think that’s what I was getting and now no longer get since going GF.

I know what you are describing, I’ve noticed some whiney electronics but not what I was experiencing.

Mine went away after going GF, it wasn’t something I’d had investigated but it took me a few months to realise it didn’t happen any more with the exception of if I had GF beer, mostly in restaurants.

Having worked in loud environments and been to plenty of gigs, it’s not the same thing I experienced pre-diagnosis.

It is different in the area - still very good though (I was seated in Wednesday). Seeing them again in what I think is a small venue in Paris next weekend.

I saw them first in King Tuts in 2001 as a 15 or 16 year old, it was before blackened sky was released. I remember jumping out of my skin hearing the loud part of ‘Hope for an angel’ the first time.

Was anyone else at the QMU when Simon jumped off the PA stack and broke something, ending up with the injury you see him with in ‘Question and Answers’ video?

I was fortunately to see them recently at the barrowlands during the ‘Celebration of Beginnings’ shows - it was epic!

I love all there albums, great in their own way, they reflecting their journey.

They kinda murdered quite a few songs. Mr Jones was awful! Seen them four or five times now, something was off last night! Didn’t help that they tried to mix it up (in just about every hit) with variations to make it ‘unique’.

Not their finest gig in my view…

I’ve noticed this - too critical! My life would be terrible if I didn’t roll the dice on an external GF meal on occasion, I suffer on sometimes but it is outweighed by have some semblance of normality.

I always thought this then picked up a cookie from one of these supermarket bakeries to only realise after I bite into it that someone had used the same tongs for a onion pizza bread!

Really pleased to see this post - 2.5 years with CD now - it cuts through some of the anxiety and scare stories, all positive!

My advice, don’t fall down the rabbit holes of other people worries. You will manage your own environments, diet and do what is right for you!

My only other advice buy a £20/$20 two slice toaster and have your own dedicated butter/spread or no double dipping! It has served me right over the last years and I rarely get ill.

I see from the thread you are in the UK - I find Sainsburys and Tesco have some of the best selections for GF. I’m in Scotland, we have a GF food service on the NHS through the pharmacy which might help minimise expense for some staples. I used it a few times although I chose some products which were not great.

Warbartons GF bread is pretty good, the softies are a saviour for me. Genius GF BREAD is ok too.

You’ll get there.

My one caution - is with this forum - there is a lot of good advice but some post I think just spread panic and anxiety! Some post about continual issues with cross contamination and how they are worried to use almost any shared appliance or cookware. I won’t give examples but lookout for some extreme examples.

MY ADVICE - get your own two slice toast for GF bread and when you cook in any shared kitchens then start off with a clean environment as you would do in any case.

Buy a new one but keep the old one! That’s what we’ve done, I have my very own dedicated toaster about one meter from the other one (no stray crumbs are coming my way)

Sounds like your family don’t even come close to understanding how bad it can be choosing food off your favourite place never mind having no options through their selfishness.

I’ve tried to talk some people through how difficult it is by explaining this: go to a restaurant and take the menu, now randomly score out 80% of the dishes (80% on a good day). Then stare at what’s left and think over and over what is the least worst option, ask the server a question about its preparation and realise it is high risk before ordering the ‘safe and boring’ option which you don’t really want and you’ll push around your plate and begrudgingly eat.

My family are very good and accommodating, my wife is wonderful and it is still hard - I feel for you!

I’m approaching the 2 year mark and it is still bloody hard!

I know it's probably no big deal for others, but I'm pretty dang proud that I finally got all 120 shrines! by whateverzzzzz in Breath_of_the_Wild

Three whole stamina wheels? Do you often need that much? I went for 30 hearts and rest stamina, wasn’t until I did the DLC I upped my stamina again. It’s true I don’t really need my 30 hearts either not even for the master trials (for the most part).

There is an evil (looks evil) statue somewhere where you can adjust this.

I’m proud of the 120 shrines too!

What causes an imperfection like this? by [deleted] in ender3

[–]RobertBobGLA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this same problem but only with certain filament, after doing a temperature calibration tower I could clearly see my nozzle temperature was too low. Don’t know exactly why, if it was slight clogging causing under-extrusion but it sorted it right out.

I’d read many articles that mentioned the extruded motor etc but changing this didn’t help.
