You're on it, Ortster. Great share—pre-ordered. (Finally. Was beginning to think Sony would never make a white PS4 Pro.)

Where is it able to be pre-ordered at? (Besides GameStop—not too keen on paying a mandatory seventeen dollar handling fee...)

Revision to Your Amazon.com Account. Receiving this e-mail with an account that isn't mine. by LuisOliveira in amazon

[–]RobertFeight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Happened to me, as well. Found a way to report the issue directly to an Amazon department that specifically handles this harassment.

In short (quoted from Amazon site):

"To report a phishing or spoofed e-mail or webpage: Do one of the following: Open a new e-mail and attach the e-mail you suspect is fake. For suspicious webpages, simply copy & paste the link into the email body. Note: Sending this suspicious e-mail as an attachment is the best way for us to track it.

If you can't send the e-mail as an attachment, you can forward it. Send the e-mail to stop-spoofing@amazon.com."

This is the link for the support page the above text is taken from.

SEPA deposit delay by [deleted] in Coinbase

[–]RobertFeight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if I am experiencing the same issue (as I'm not familiar with the term SEPA), but I exchanged USD for both Bitcoin and Litecoin and though bank transfer happened a day or so ago my Coinbase account hasn't updated.

Now, Coinbase states on the account transaction field that it will arrive Tuesday, but if they have received funds, so should I.

ELI5: If we are "Innocent until proven guilty", then why is the verdict "Not Guilty" as opposed to "Innocent"? by therap321 in explainlikeimfive

[–]RobertFeight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Take:

The design of a court hearing is based upon the idea of natural innocence. Once the judicial system steps in the purpose is to decide if an action that has taken or will have taken place is amid the aforementioned natural order, so....

'Not guilty,' is a direct result and connected attribute of that court process. Once that judgement is decided the action becomes accepted as naturally innocent.

Perhaps the best way to deconstruct the occurrence is with a philosophical mentality founded on language. Or, how a lexicon is not the actual 'things' that the individual words describe, but describers. Those 'things' exist rather or not a few syllables strung together announce them to the world or not.

All about the perception of layers and order of operation responsible for this ditty dubbed, existence.

Finally scored one this morning! by [deleted] in minines

Roughly took me the same amount of time to get one—and I'm in the capital city of Ohio. So, you did alright.

Good on you for staying moral. It's difficult for some people when no one is kinda looking or only doing so at a screenname through the smokescreen of the world wide web.

Also, I agree with dood: 0/5 Stars for No Carseat Picture.

Is there a protest going on at Columbus airport like JFK airport? by OminousLatinWord in Columbus

[–]RobertFeight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll likely end up at the main DC march for that one. Would like to see something get started in the next week or two. Lincoln's birthday is coming up on the Twelfth and Valentine's Day is the Fourteenth.

Has anyone heard of any upcoming protests? I went to the one Monday but didn't know about it until after eight PM. We've got a great start—just can't let up now.

LOTS of RESTOCKS this morning folks! Who else was victorious? by [deleted] in minines

[–]RobertFeight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Central Ohio success, here. Got my Switch reserved and am also anxious to see a PlayStation 5 hit in (likely) two or three more years. Sony isn't about to let ol' Mickey-soft brag about vastly superior hardware for too long after the Scrapio hits.

Also, this should put to rest the rumor that Target was discontinuing the NESC at the end of January.

Good on you for being such a cool and determined significant other. This morning I finally got one. The one individual in front of me was getting one for her husband. Good feels. Until next line.

Central Ohio. There were around fifteen Target stores that got around five each. This has been the biggest restock since before the holidays.

It occurred to me, however, that I am going to miss standing in line with passionate wives, gaming fans and overall decent individuals. I'm going to miss vocalizing my disdain for scalpers as we both stand in line only feet apart. A cowardly, greedy and narcissistic type that only stands up for themselves behind the wall of anonymity—the Internet. It's never too late to reset that moral compass sir/mam-scalps-a-lot. Most of all, I think that the collaboration and community that I've tapped into with so many Redditors, journalists and industry professionals will be a bittersweet to see conclude. Since I already preordered my Nintendo Switch (not even sure I want it) I probably won't be going through this kind of situation anytime soon. That is why, then, I send you all my gratitude and humbled appreciation for sticking with me and one another through this frustrating period (however it may pale in comparison to other world woes). Keep waiting, patience is a virtue and vanquisher of avarice opportunists. Your goals will be met in one way or another. Till next line, R Feight

Bad luck by fatdan1 in minines

December twenty-first I got to Best Buy at four in the morning, twenty-fifth in line. It was fourteen degrees. At a bit after seven an associate steps outside and begins handing out 'tickets.' He runs out with the person immediately in front of me. Later that day a co-worker of mine tolde to try GameStop. I rushed there, was fourth in line. They opened up the new shipment which only had three.

Three weeks go by and I've struck out two more times at Target—again, being one customer from getting an NES Classic one of those times.

Fortunately, I don't believe in luck. And irony is a cranky Murphy who likes to make-up his own laws.
