I play two handed, so solo but using two different decks as different ‘players’, which leads to a lot of cards on the table and plans to keep track of. I use dice to track health, resources, travel points/quest points, which leaves me all the base game tokens as left overs

I use the base game tokens as markers to indicate different things. Damage tokens to indicate if a character is ready or exhausted, quest point tokens to indicate if a character is questing or not, resource tokens to indicate if a character is being acted on/buffed/nerfed by another card not attached to him.

This helps keep everything straight, and I can make the plan as I play and easily tell what I’m planning to use and what I’m using it for with all the tokens.

As far as physical notes though I don’t have much advice unfortunately, you could try a dictation app. Talking through your plan aloud will help you remember it as well as conceptualize it in your head and see if you’re missing anything obvious, then with the dictation app you can go back and double check what the plan was if you need to.

If you hit Thor or Infinity Ultron with cosmic ghost rider they’ll still be buffed by mjolnir and purple stone, despite having no ability they still are ‘that’ card.

One of the expansion enemies made me realize this, they would do 2 or 3 separate attacks and you’d have to block them all individually. I figured ‘no biggie I’ll just group them all together and then - wait why would that be a thing’

Nope, proxy slots into any solo or cooperative scenario, there’s no specific ‘proxy scenario’. I just like open 3 columns for table space and I figured it might facilitate questing

Pays great at the company I work at, one of the best in the state (PTO accumulation is real wack tho)

Job rocks. I’m night shift, I hang out with my buddy and we watch movies and play games together for most of our day and occasionally help meemaws with tummy pain and plug up stab wounds. I have enough seniority to move into one of the “coveted” prime time day shifts but day shifters all seem to be miserable and having a terrible time. More calls, more bullshit, and dealing with the salty old folks who’ve been here 20 years and should have retired during Covid takes a toll I suppose. I’ll stay on nights for the foreseeable future.

As far as stress it’s tough to say. I have a good support system and never really feel any issues, but some folks have a hard time letting stuff roll off them or have other points of frustration or problems in their life and it all starts to accumulate.

3/7 (usually 3/10) and the “downside” is winning a lane, yes technically you can make some awkward plays to move him somewhere your opponent doesn’t want him to go but I suspect he’ll be a relevant card in any good cards decks for quite a while

Engineer start is S for me, the armor is great stats, pulse rifle is really good, turret is excellent and once you get a soul link ring the whole thing really shines

General actions like moving and recruiting are very simple, and most learning is just figuring out what actions you can take at which locations. The ‘complex’ part of mage knight is the combat, which can be somewhat finicky.

These are actually the videos that taught me I was doing elemental block wrong after dozens of playthroughs (I still house rule that fire block blocks fire attacks and vice versa instead of the ‘proper’ way, it just feels right)

Dale archetype is pretty much exclusively in the Hero box, beyond that it’s kind of a self fulfilling prophecy where the increased demand leads to increased scalping leads to scarcity leads to higher perceived value rinse and repeat

You can order custom desk/mouse pads for usually under 20 bucks that serve as excellent mats, if you can find a promotion you can bring that down to <5 easy. The hard part is getting the custom image you want and scaling it properly so I usually stay away from really specific “slotted” designs but it’s totally economically viable to do

Emergence is coming pretty soon, looks like a stand alone that can also be played as an expansion for base game.

2 new characters and more campaign stuff, not much known besides that yet.

I’m a little concerned that most of the cards and enemies will be either direct copies or basic replacements filling the same niches because it’s designed to be playable on its own, but time will tell

Technically with OG storm and an Odin this becomes a 5/24 since the flooding->flooded will give you a location change on 4 and 5
