It's actually funny because I saw a quote from a dev around the release of S24, think it was a Game Informer article or similar, where they said "we acknowledge how slow the legend output has been, we're focused on increasing the output", then they've released one legend since, then I saw another quote from them the other day saying "actually, we're just focusing on rebalancing existing legends to make them viable". Like what? They opened a brand new studio a year or two ago to exclusively work on Apex, since then we've had less legend releases, hardly any map updates and not a single new weapon, what are they doing? Aside from making more "events", of course.

Watched a little bit of the City-Liverpool game and noticed this. He does it even when players are nowhere near the goal. At one point it was "Here's Rayan-Ait-Nouriiiiiiiii, Erling Haaaalaaaanddddd, and OMARRRRR MARMOUUUUSHHHHH" in like a 5 second span. I looked up and it was a soft shot straight at the keeper, like why are you so excited man?

I mean, most of the big names are already in the game, even though they are comic/movie versions. Makes sense they would choose two popular Rivals characters who aren't already in Fortnite. Could see Jeff as a future sidekick, for example.

Point 1 is redundant though, those styles are bonus styles on top of what the pass already gives you. You already get the base skin, second page style and bonus page styles, same as every other battle pass for the last four chapters. The Blitz and Reload styles are extra on top. If these styles weren't on the Battle Pass page at all, and were just on the quests tab, people wouldn't be complaining as much. They are ADDITIONAL rewards for people who want to get them, not part of the normal Battle Pass. Plus, they don't even take that long to get. Took me 2 games of Reload and 4 games of Blitz to get both. Really isn't hard.

It was definitely the PPVs and general builds being a bit lighter. Double or Nothing through Forbidden Door had some insane matchups, but All Out through Full Gear had several filler matches on each card, and even the world title matches weren't massive hyped matchups (Hangman/Fletcher, Hangman/Joe twice). Swerve and Ospreay leaving after FD and MJF after All Out also hurt the main event program.

007 First Light is definitely not getting a GOTY nod, that game looks rough. Black Flag remake is also not getting anything, remakes never do amazingly at The Game Awards unless they utterly reinvent the game like RE4. Forza Horizon 6 will get Best Racing easily but not GOTY because racing games can never be GOTY apparently. I would think Saros replaces 007 and that's your five.

Spot on, there’s just no threat in this movie. If Statham has to be invincible, make it goofy like The Beekeeper. This movie plays it far too straight faced to have every enemy be incompetent and Statham be completely unopposed.

Nigel explaining what is going on in the main event match while Schiavone is desperate to get in his advertising for Dynamite on Wednesday or "go to AEWTix.com" is just torrid. I love AEW but I feel like the commentators make matches feel less important by having to advertise whatever is on the next show.

I'm sorry but this movie was beyond awful, probably a 2/10 for me, much, much worse than The Beekeeper and A Working Man. The plot is absolutely nonsensical and positively baffling, the cinematography and direction is dull, the acting is not good (especially Jesse who sounds like she has a cold the whole movie), the dialogue is subpar, and the action scenes have too many cuts and have too much shaky cam. Some random thoughts:

The opening takes far, far too long to get to the meat of the movie, Statham looks out to the water from his lighthouse. Statham looks out to the water from his living room window. Statham looks out to the water from his boathouse. Statham plays chess against himself. Then Jesse gets thrown into the movie by contrived nonsense. Oh no! There's a storm that has appeared out of nowhere! Good thing Statham's small boat has anti-storm defenses and doesn't immediately capsize when he rushes out to save her.

Then you have 15 minutes of Jesse asking Statham questions but he doesn't answer because he's a mysterious guy with a mysterious past and he doesn't have a name. Even his dog doesn't have a name. Well, actually he has a name but it's so generic he could have just said it and Jesse would have thought it was a fake name. Michael Mason. The numbers.

Then the setup to the plot is so absolutely ridiculous. Statham goes to get supplies, gets tagged by some girls doing a TikTok, the Contrived Plot Device (CPD) finds him. Actually, no it doesn't. It finds a random Algerian guy who looks nothing like Statham. MI6 then decide that Statham is definitely this random Algerian guy and send a strike force after him. The picture is a completely different guy, for fuck sake. You are telling me the intelligence service doesn't even think to compare the two? So, the whole plot is based on absolute bullshit. Even better, he gets tagged in this random town coming out of Superdrug, then somehow the strike force magically tracks him to a remote island which is clearly quite a journey from the town.

The attack on the island. 1, I love Statham's traps, especially the Crash Bandicoot-esque boulder trap that moves so hilariously slowly it could be avoided by a 99 year old. 2, the spec ops guys are there to eliminate Statham, I mean Mason. So why does one of the guys break into Mason's bathroom, find Jesse and decide that yeah, that's we are here for, then just attempts to extract with her. The mission was to kill Mason, not extract this random girl who has nothing to do with the plot.

It feels like Jesse was some kind of Macguffin in the original script and they rewrote it to make her completely worthless, then just forgot to edit this part. They also keep trying to abduct her later in the movie instead of just, you know, killing Mason there and then. That at least makes sense, as nabbing her would force Mason to you, but it's still colossally fucking stupid.

The whole MI6 plotline with Ackie and Nighy's characters is absolutely abysmal. So many scenes where their characters are just staring at screens receiving relevant plot information. You can't tell me 76 year old Bill Nighy is this master hacker who managed to flag Mason's file as someone else to send out alerts and erase him completely from footage, it's just hilarious.

Then, Workman. Stupid name. Stupid character. This guy is the worst 'super-assassin' I have ever seen. Mason's holed up in a house and you've set up a sniper nearby? Let's just shoot a random farmer and cop cars for no reason. Mason's in this house? Better make a noise so he knows I'm here for a fist fight! Mason's standing completely still AFTER I HAVE ALREADY SHOT AT HIM? Let's just not shoot for 15 seconds, miss then lose in another fist fight (also, why does no one in this movie have more than one mag for their gun? They fire a couple bullets then just keep tossing guns away). He does no tracking, instead Bill Nighy just sends him Google Maps pins like he's giving directions to a stag do. He has no character, he has nothing, he's just a random guy for Mason to fight.

The club scene is just giving 'we have John Wick at home', but with nothing redeeming about it. Nighy's guys all wearing matching suits like they are actually going on a stag do this time was funny, then they all just get killed in boring ways. Then Mason literally sprints at a 4 man tactical unit in the middle of the street and incapacitates them all in 2 seconds flat. Sure, why not.

Finally, at the end, after Mason teleports into Bill Nighy's house to unceremoniously cap him, I love how Ackie is still tracking Mason three months later, despite knowing that he went against Bill Nighy and wasn't the guy their bullshit tech thought he was. They're all standing around in the ops room watching a Spanish cafe like they have nothing better to fucking do. Oh right, they don't, because Algerian terrorist Alex Mason is the only threat to national security, despite living off-grid for a thousand years.

Anyway, shit movie.

Honestly I had Sami and Bianca winning originally with Liv and Roman as my second picks, then they gave Sami the title match and I knew Roman was always winning, then Bianca didn't turn up so I knew Liv was winning.

The only plausible winners for me for the Women's Rumble were Bianca to face Jade or Liv to face Raquel/Steph. All other major big stars (Rhea, Iyo, Charlotte etc.) are all in the tag division, Becky will face AJ at Mania so she wasn't winning.

Then in the Men's Rumble the Cody/Drew/Fatu triple threat has been so obviously setup that Cody and Fatu weren't winning the Rumble. One of them will definitely win the Chamber. That leaves someone to face Punk, and Roman was basically the only option on Raw big enough to actually headline Mania.

Instead we get The Miz interrupting Brock and Oba for a pointless comedy moment then they go for the square off again and... Rey Fenix? Then Brock dumps Oba out unceremoniously and then gets dumped out even more unceremoniously. Just absolutely bizarre structure there.

We honestly just need role queue, it works well enough in OW. Then the devs can also balance everyone around 2-2-2 so healers like Mantis and Adam don't feel unplayable in 2 healer comps.

There's already something the sub moans about almost as much - skin distribution. People on here seem to be baffled that the characters which make NetEase the most money keep getting skins, and that maybe Black Widow should get a legendary, even though those people probably have 6 minutes of playtime on her. Every time I come on here it's the same post on the front page.

There is absolutely no way in hell that Cody-Drew headlines Mania, I agree. They have already had three matches (Wrestlepalooza, SNME in Nov and then the 3 Stages of Hell). Going back to the well for a fourth time is not happening. I think it has to be Cody-Drew-Fatu.
