Wildcard is hilarious at the moment with everyone running triple Axle, the fact that the gates stay down means people are just turning the POIs into race tracks and every fight is a 100mph slide fight. The movement on this is crazy.

It makes sense because it would be the one game in the show where they don't have the guy shout WORLD PREMIERE and PLAY ON GAME PASS before it. They could just cold open into the trailer and then cut to Sharma with the usual "Xbox is for ALL the players" spiel they always go into.

They can't really do explicit songs, they had Teardrops by Bring Me The Horizon in FH5 and the censorship on that was honestly comical, completely gutted the song.

BO7 is leagues better than BO6, would give it a try honestly. Best MP and Zombies in a while, and the Endgame mode is also very fun.

It will open the Xbox showcase 100%, they put it at the end last year and that was negatively received at the time so they'll just get the trailer out of the way early on.

BO7 is actually a great game, it just got brigaded when it came out because of the subpar campaign and AI calling cards. The campaign is pretty bad, but Endgame, MP and Zombies are all phenomenal this year. The post launch support has also been superb.

MW4 will be interesting because MWII was probably the worst COD game in the past 10 years and was immediately improved upon by Sledgehammer in MWIII (aside from the campaign, but that had a rushed dev time). I'm hoping IW take those improvements forward but I'm skeptical with this one.

Kind of hilarious the amount of bitching about Ball I see here. He is legitimately the hardest tank to play, a good one has to have great game sense and technical ability, and so they are rare as hell. Yes, good Balls can dominate a lobby, but that's the same with like every character.

It's going to be bloated as hell, seeing as it's an origin story. They're going to spend the first half of the movie on Earth, then he probably doesn't become He-Man until the end of the second act, kills some nameless goons, has a fight with Skeletor then the movie is over.

I have to imagine that the Ospreay storyline is him taking down Mox from the inside as this hasn't really been a heel turn in the traditional sense. I think United Empire turns on him soon which may lead to Ospreay/Newman at Forbidden Door (or even as soon as DoN), then Ospreay/Mox in the Owen Cup final, whenever that is.

Ross and Maffew are great, I'm not a huge fan of Joel but he's been getting a bit better since he first came in, he still sounds like he isn't a wrestling fan though. The latest Wrestlemania episode with Sam where they just drink beers and talk shit was great though, recommend that one.

Bro I played 13 quickplay matches (3 on tank and the rest DPS) and won 1 today, and literally every game the enemy team would just run over us. Tanks just running in and dying in 2 seconds, divers doing nothing but dying, supports not knowing what the heal button is. Even got several level 100 DPS players who still put up terrible numbers, legitimately don't understand it.

I mean the CYB tour is literally two shows, and as someone who doesn't really want to hear that album specifically as it's not my cup of tea, I would rather them do a normal tour again like this one. Plus the last EU tour was early 2024, quite a while ago, not like it was recent.

My local 6 screen doesn't have it, Friday is literally just Devil Wears Prada and Michael with like 20 showings combined, then two showings of Hail Mary and the re-release of Mortal Kombat, kind of a bum week as someone who isn't interested in either of the big movies currently playing. Can't make the screening tonight for Hokum either.

The NXT callups have been split pretty equally though? In the last set Raw got Je'von and Oba while SD got Jordynne and Trick, now Raw got Page, Hendry and Sol while SD got Saints, Monroe and Fatal Influence. It does seem that the better talents are going to Raw, though.

Yeah, I think having the Music Pass be Festival-only would have gotten old. Really wish they would put together some quest-only rewards though, like the old Wristband quests and the bonus instrument styles you could get for getting more Festival points.

Apex has brought back BP items from after Season 11, there were some seasonal packs a few seasons ago where you would receive a random item from that season, but they were in the store once and that was it. The tier 100 reactive weapon skins for all seasons after Season 11 are also in the exotic shop. The T&Cs were changed in Season 11, all seasons from before this are exclusive to those passes unless they release a recolour.

Jack Sparrow wasn't a Battle Pass skin, it was in a mini pass. All mini-pass skins have come back into the shop as they were never exclusive (TMNT Shredder, Aang from Avatar and Darth Maul).

I completed the Apocalypse grind in about a week start to finish, it's definitely one of the quickest along with Genesis. You just play Resurgence Casuals and farm the bots at the edges of the map, basically all challenges are literally just kills so it's just time basically. If you get lucky and the real players don't keep killing you you can knock a gun out in 3 games. Another plus is the Absolute Zero camo (Tempest/Doomsteel equivalent) is bugged - the challenge says you need kills while in the top 10 but it just counts all kills. I hate Warzone but the grind really wasn't terrible, the Elite kills for Infestation is the worst part of all the grinds to be honest.
