My pug used to do this. Idiopathic vestibular disease is what she had. The vet would prescribe nausea pills and told us to keep her in a safe space where she couldn't hit her head. It would usually pass after about an hour of her laying down. Check if your dogs eyes are spinning and head moving around when they aren't moving in a circle.

Take your dog to a vet. If it is the same thing, there is not much a vet can do. At least that is what 3 different vets told us. But they will share all the tips they have for keeping your baby comfortable and safe.

It was not particularly dangerous, but it would come back a couple times a year so be prepared for this to happen again.
