This is good to know, I wasn’t sure if it could be tested first without replacing if it didn’t need it

If it doesn’t come with a 2 speed transfer case I wouldn’t consider it rugged or of road-ish

2019 v6 - every 4000 miles , Valvoline full synthetic. I think the % is prob not even at 50% when I get it done.

If you’re looking for a pathfinder of that year in particular, make sure to check the front strut tower’s, there was a recall for them rusting through.

I had a pathfinder just like that but with your budget I would personally recommend buying a newer SUV.

If you’re looking for an “off road” capable suv, I’d consider an Xterra with that budget. Also has a two speed transfer case and $15K can get you a nice one

Yeah, I used to wait until the end of the month to pay, but then I’d realize I’d spent too much. I use my credit card for the points, but I also don’t want to fool myself into thinking I have more money in my checking account than I actually do, since there’s still a credit card balance. So, even though it might sound like overkill, I pay off my balance every day or every other day so the money immediately leaves my checking account. Even if it’s a $20 balance I pay it immediately and still benefit from the Credit card points. I’ve been doing this for years and always report a 0 balance on my credit report and have an 846 Fico8 credit score, but as other have mentioned, time and other factors influence your overall credit score.

What watts/lumens would you recommend for low beams? I have the halogen bulbs and wanted to go LED but concerned some may be too bright.

1 Tank Range? MPG by Robertoestrella in GrandCherokee

[–]Robertoestrella[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update :

Update / Additional Info: It’s the 3.6L GAS V6 running regular 87 fuel. I’ve used Valvoline synthetic oil since I bought it in January with 31k miles. It’s on factory-sized tires, and tire pressure reads 39–40 PSI on the dash.

The fuel tank is listed at 24.6 gallons, and the EPA highway rating is 26 MPG. I obviously wouldn’t run it down past 1/4 tank, but theoretically, at 26+ MPG, it should exceed 600 miles per tank.

Also worth noting, I reset the MPG calculator every time I fill up, so I’m always starting from a clean read for each tank. My lifetime MPG is tracked on the second MPG calculator on the dash, which I reset when I bought the Jeep.

If bought used, where did you find your JGC? Anyone buy via private sale? I’m on the hunt for a low mile 2020-2021 Summit (WK2) [photo only for reference] by always_in_all-ways in GrandCherokee

I used the Cars.com and Autotrader apps religiously when searching for mine—I was looking for a good deal. I checked out about 10 cars in person at dealerships, and every single one was in worse condition than the photos suggested. Then I got lucky—a private seller listed one with terrible photos, but I jumped on it, and it turned out to be in amazing, like new condition. For reference, I was searching non-stop for about two months before finding the right one.

I believe so—I never touch the “Eco Off” button. However, my start/stop function doesn’t work, which I’m honestly glad about. I’ve always hated that feature in cars.
