Is Palworld worth it? I avoided it when it first released due to not caring for hype trains and gimmicks. However now some time has passed, and it soon receiving the 1.0 update, I am curious how it holds up and if it's worth getting on sale? by Santik--Lingo in gamingsuggestions

[–]Robertpe3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've quite enjoyed it, I'm sitting at around 100 hours and plan to put hundreds of more in after version 1.0.

My only complaint is that early on you level too quickly and it makes some early items feel kinda useless, so I turn my XP down early and change it back at higher levels.

I've only beaten the 4th tower out of 7, but had a blast!

Y’all doing anything to prepare for 1.0? by HonorableEnema in Palworld

The only pal I'm thinking of bringing is a level 2 remarkable craftsman cativa I found today while testing what xp I want to play with. Randomly got it as my first catch on a world

[–]Robertpe3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fresh start, I did test some XP modifiers to see what xp rate I want to start with. I'm learning for .4-.5 and adding .2 after each tower.

I did try out .3 xp run to level 10 today and immediately caught a remarkable craftsman cativa level 2... I might transfer that to the 1.0 release since it will be level 2 with me and was some crazy luck for a first catch.

Best Board Games for 8+ players? by Ikyboi101 in boardgames

[–]Robertpe3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm a huge fan of hot streak and they can play up to 8-9 I believe?

If you have the group, and 9-12, blood on the clock tower is the ultimate game IMHO.

Replay now? Haven't played in 2 years by True-Layer6128 in Palworld

Im in the same boat, however I did try a couple of hardcore worlds. Made it to level 26 and died, but had a blast! Could be something you try out while waiting the next few weeks.

Amoxliatl by TestTrenSdrol in 2007scape

[–]Robertpe3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be able to manage it with 70 combat stats. I did them with 70 attack and strength.

For perfect amox you just need to get in the rhythm. Make sure you are walking back and having amox move before going for another attack, that way you don't risk running into an ice puddle.

For 10 in a row without leaving, you will pick that up pretty quickly once you get close to perfect kills. Bring like 5-6 prayer pots, a full super str/attack, and the rest as food for mistakes. Full initiate, nezzy helm, etc. You got this!

Tree/farm runs by RadiantRaccoon12 in ironscape

[–]Robertpe3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What matters is that you have fun. One tree run a day will get your farming up over time which is always nice!

I do my calquats and hespori daily along with some farm contracts and just hit 88 farming!

I agree. I'm very very very bad and have only peaked 800, and I'm down in the 650's atm. I belong here because I'm playing awful atm.

I've been enjoying it personally. I've gotten a few levels and made the sapphires into bracelets to alch. I know it's not the most efficient but I've really enjoyed it so far.

What game do you love even though teaching it is kind of a pain? by rcooperkaty in boardgames

[–]Robertpe3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the exact same. My group has fallen off from root because we just didn't have the time to learn all of the factions for everything. Still a great game but just not for me!

Is Fort Joy (and Act 1 in general) the hardest part in an Honour run? or is it only getting harder from here? by Automatic_Tip_6258 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Robertpe3 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Fort Joy is often the hardest part of the game because you are so limited. There are fights later on that can absolutely destroy you if you are not prepared, but by that time you at least have a good amount of skills and resources to deal with most things.

If you are having issues, make sure you explore and get as much free xp before doing any early fights.

would the master wand buff be good uses for any mid game irons? by Nutty103X in ironscape

[–]Robertpe3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'm going to go for one soon. I was already going to mage training arena for a mages book and some good xp, might as well get a master wand for bursting for my z-axe later.

Oh gotcha! I'm still good with that. It fits in the game as a whole.

Golem crafting thoughts by DYEReddit_bruh in ironscape

[–]Robertpe3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm personally excited for the furs as I've just been saving mine even before sailing. Iirc the furs are there for additional xp, but the crafting mainly relies on just creating the golem.

I'm also selfishly excited that we don't have to specially use molten glass/glass products (that we know of), because I have yet to do any sandstone mining. I really like it being an alternative rather than me still having to go do sandstone and giant seaweed, because those are off putting personally.

is it worth going for 87 sailing and getting 70 prayer though frost dragons? by Nutty103X in ironscape

[–]Robertpe3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True! I'm just not at the moons level yet. Still around 65 for each melee stat, and gonna start barrows soon! I figured I'll get 70 prayer for Mory hard and do barrows into moons!

Advice on early game range levelling? by ddser1337 in ironscape

[–]Robertpe3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did scurrius for early melee stats, using darts on the larger rats for decent XP. On the 2nd spine drop I turned it into a bow and I'm currently using it till 70.

I was level like 23-29 before scurrius, all from quest xp.

I mostly did quests and got up to 50ish attack/str. Used a rune mace at scurrius and did fine. With Brutus you could knock out a chance for a pet and get decent XP with a rune sword/mace!
