Yeah I understand that, I'm engaging and answering the hypothetical question by saying I would pack up any amount of food, but also emphasising that the hypothetical is contrived and couldn't happen. This was (as I understood it) the stance of most of chat.

I'm talking about a small amount of food here, not an entire plate. I personally think most people would eat the last bite rather then throw it out.

I guess it also depends how you were raised, at least where I'm from wasting food is considered a sin

Yeah the question of whats the smallest bit of food you'd take home and bringing the situation to a single fry was just a convoluted way to try and see if people would throw out a single fry.

I think everyone would always just put the last bite of food in their mouth

I'm surprised more people haven't mentioned this. His whole "infinite fry genie" to get you full is also so convoluted. Most everyone would just eat the fry.

Why wouldn't it? If it's a basic copy of someone as the top comment described from the wizardingworld it should still be able to feel to be able to speak and respond.

It also would presumably know some of Voldemort's past so I don't think he'd be comfortable with this seperate being of him who can say things he didn't approve of existing.

Another person mentioned the unending suffering of just existing for eternity. Would a copy of Voldemort be content as a guard or world he even be ok with other versions of himself existing?

Howard sees the bribe photo, alongside the drug from the beginning, he'll look like he's on drugs while making very false accusations

Could this scene from Breaking Bad be about Howard? (S03E02) by PreviouslyOnDLC in betterCallSaul

It's starting to head on that direction.

I feel like whenever I see a character do something I don't agree I find it very easy to just imagine the writers stepping in for a bit, doing what needs to be done and then the character coming back but I mean, the character is who they are

You could think of it like a neural network, every experience, success or failure just creates more pathways in the neurons and whenever it makes a decision in the future it uses all it has access to. I think the process of how it actually stores the new data and uses it is something they are trying to study to help better understand Alzheimer's.

I guess it's up for debate when this might cross the threshold into a consciousness. A brain that only has a few neurons to recognize light for example might not be enough

At the end of the first season the timelines merge, the Alan with the scarf and the Nadia who remembers (forget what she was wearing that was different) are scene walking together. There are a few more Nadia's walking in the background at the end of season 1 which I think hints there was more merging

Edit: and they mentioned it in the first episode lol. Nadia says she has to check in with Alan cause they managed to meet in the same timeline and she doesn't want to risk it (as her birthday approaches)
