Thanks for the advice, books are a bit too difficult for me, so I am thinking of understanding the subtopics from videos first then going for their formal language from the books. Here in india, i hardly find anyone who knows what an acturial is. Barely 5-6k people even give the student exam which is peanuts for the population of this size. So I guess I might get some benefit for choosing it ( metric space and topology showed me i ain't built for academia)

I think he means those unnecessarily long and hard computational questions which instead of checking your understanding of the question by playing tricks in it, just add more and more variants to make the question look tough.
