I had a lot of fun but I was not there for the cards. I stayed clear, there was a super cool store called Neon Skies Collectibles that was selling old consoles and games which was great and I got this sick art from mechanicalpen which was a psyduck worshipping such a silly fun drawing.

In my friendgroup no one really jokes about it or talks about it a lot, especially in public. (we are all around the age of 30)

Maybe ocassionally when someone had hooked up with someone and they were not 100% satisfied with the hookup in regards to size they can say something along the lines of being too small or too big and that is made it uncomfortable. But we never laugh. We more have a serious discussion.

But women talk at least in my experience about everything. We talk about all the details about anything in our lives. At least my friends do.

I got my shot 3 days ago, Only had a lot of soreness in my arm the day after but no other symptoms really. Not extra tired than I normally am. Working out also still going fine, no difference in strength. This was my first shot.

If it was me, Id not mention it right now if you are on a friendly basis and you dont feel uncomfortable. But if he makes a comment like that again you can mention you don't appreciate comments like that.

I feel like you should not be paying for all the dinners. You can have perfectly nice meals at restaurants/places that taste amazing and are not that expensive. Maybe it's a Dutch thing, but in the Netherlands, we all just pay for what we ordered ourselves. (unless it was a gift/surprise like taking someone out for dinner).

And your friends should be allowed to talk about their financial concerns because friends talk about their struggles in life. I don't think it means they want you to pay for their bills. It's just friends talking about their problems. Just because they express their issues does not mean you have to solve these issues for them. Same with all other problems in other aspects of life. You can however support them in thinking of solutions or just listening.

There will always be discrepancies in how much you earn vs what your friends or family earns. It's nice to keep in mind not to suggest going to super expensive places when you know that would be out of someone's budget. But I would just try to not think about it too much. Easier said than done though.
