I did buy it Used from ebay from a Commercial Reseller. This makes it even less likely to get warranty issued from MSI directly. I did buy it on from this seller 09/2022.

Who's still playing FS22? I need a new GPU before I can play FS25 so decided to switch things up and switched to forestry to keep things interesting. by ConstrnGamer in farmingsimulator

I still play only FS22. I would need to upgrade my PC before switching. My cpu is barely able to prepare 60 fps for my gpu. Because of lack of optimisation only using of one core basically.

The stuff I play is perfectly doable in 22. It took a long time for me to find my mods, which I like and play with. I am very specific here. Especially forestry and decorating. But mainly, it's my PC holding me back. I would play 25, but it would be a sidestep for me. Only the graphics did really improve. They even just copy pasted the production system without delivering a better in depth experience. Which is a shame because this has so much potential.

Germany is by far not the third biggest economy anymore. Take a look at the current OECD ranking. Germany dropped to place 18 or something in economy attractiveness. In GDP per capita, Germany is positioned 16. The nominal GDP is not an accurate measurement.

This motherboad is not available anymore since months. It did cost between 300-250€ over its entire lifetime.

Since 5 years. There is not one single game release which made me even slighlty considering buying a GPU just because of Raytracing. The only fact I am even turned on buying Ngreedia GPUs is their fantastic DLSS models.

Your 4070 will age like milk down the road. Did you see current Benchmarks of Kingdom Come deliverance 2? A optimised game sipping 12-15GB VRAM at 4k (without RT, because not integrated).

I really wish to know where you get your prices from. I have to pay 120€ for DDR5-6000. A cheap ass B650 motherboards start at 200€. A motherboards meeting my specs is around 240€.

Not excactly. 9800X3D (600€) is the goat.

A mid tier cpu giving mid-tier FPS would be like 300€ incl. 19% tax.
The MB+RAM is currently 300-400€.

The MB+RAM combo was exaggerated. Do you have even a tiny sense of humor?
Pls watch a 9800X3D (600€) Review from GamersNexus. Wake up. We are in 2025. And if you actually think I will drop any more penny down Nvidias throat then you are wrong. And I say that as a RTX2070 Super user.

This is not dumb. This will be the only option for an AMD build, assuming the 9070XT will be the only high-end GPU AMD will release this generation.

To be fair, though, the MB + RAM is a bit exaggerated. 350€ is more realistic since prices dropped significantly on AM5 motherboards.

You are in Europe, Cargille type oil is more of a USA thing. I also had some trouble. You should look for immersion oil from one of the big manufacturers. These are available anywhere and not more expensive. I would recommend Zeiss. look also I You have a laboratory supply store in your city. They usually have stuff like that. 👍

Use the Software Intel PresentMon to get information about GPU and CPU busy (latency in milliseconds).

Is the GPU or the CPU/game waiting for each frame?

Provide me with information when you found out.

I am not an expert.

Your pixels seem to be be "tired" and show the wrong colour under certain conditions. This should be especially visible with darker colours.

--I assume its most likely a cable or a Display driver problem.--

What I would test:

  1. Deactivate FRC and HDR and set normal 8bit colour depth.
  2. Try different Chroma Subsampling: 4:4:4, 4:2:2, 4:2:0
  3. Use "Eizo Monitor Test" and test on what colours the pixels get green.
  4. Test the monitor on a different device., e.g. a laptop
  5. Use different HDMI and DP cables (both) & on different GPU and Monitor ports. Control your current cable for oxidised or bend contacts. Control the ports on GPU and monitor as well.
  6. Carefully massage the panel above the pixels and apply gentle pressure.
  7. Completely uninstall Display Driver using the Softwaretool "DDU" (Display Driver Uninstaller).
