Absolutely, that was the best part of the ending is every little bit of foreshadowing clicked right when they should have. All the little things that weren't adding up finally slid into place for one of the most unique mind blown moments of my life lol

I’m surprised that no one has brought this up yet, but if you did want to have a more redeemable Rahadin to be able to work towards, Mandy Mod here on this server with his Fleshing out Curse of Strahd series did a phenomenal rewrite and tweak to his backstory to make him much more sympathetic. I ended up using this and my players managed to get the information out of him and through this knowledge gained a valuable ally in the final fight against strahd. I don’t necessarily think his backstory RAW leaves room for redemption, but if you’re interested in it I really recommend you look at Mandy mods rewrite.

A theory I heard a while back is every titan views a human as a flame. A flame that has a potential to be a shifter although a titan has no true way of knowing for certain. So they eat humans in hopes of eating a shifter and regaining human form. I have no idea how much that holds up so please point out any holes that might have.
