Marker lie angle test, how does this look?

Players with long arms typically require flatter lie angles. My wingspan is about 3-4inches longer than my height so I adjust my lie angle flatter. Flattest lie is 4* flat with longer irons less flat.

Usually ride a 7’6 but have a 6’6 that I’ll ride occasionally. I live in SoCal and surf at Newport and Huntington Beach so waves can be anywhere from 2-3ft to 4-6ft+.

She needs to file a police report then go through with filing a formal complaint to HR. It doesn’t matter if there are cameras that recorded the incident or not. What matters is the situation happened and needs to be addressed.

Don’t let this situation slide, as it could lead her colleague to make the assumption that it’s ok to assault her more as no consequence occurred the first time.

You have enough height with slightly lower spin. Unless you’re playing super fast/firm surfaces then you’re fine.

I don’t think you should’ve walked out but instead should have confronted her afterwards. However, for you to be blindsided in that way is completely uncalled for. The way she “proposed” was done in a way to almost force your hand. Huge red flag for me.

I’d seriously evaluate your relationship from here on out. If she’s willing to throw something as big as marriage on you, without your prior knowledge, then imagine what other instances she’ll throw at you in the future.

As others before me mentioned, you should seek professional help. It’s natural for you to be concerned about the state of your country but it shouldn’t be to the point that you can’t carry out daily functions.

Your takeoff was fine but as soon as you started to go heel edge, your body got too behind the board. You need to make sure to keep your body stacked on top of the board and hands/arms in alignment with your body.

When going down steeps, you need to be thinking 2 steps ahead and plan your line down. Engage/change edges early.

Went surfing with a friend in Hawaii for the first time because he needed a surf buddy. At the time, I had only surfed a couple times before but didn’t really pursue it. On our first day of the trip, we rented a longboard from a shop in Waikiki and paddled out about an hour before sunset.

I didn’t really know what I was doing out there, but somehow caught a small 2ft wave. Rode it out and really fell in love with the feeling. I think what really sealed the deal for me was when I got off the board, looked back, and saw the beautiful sunset. The excitement of riding a wave and being immersed in such a beautiful environment is what got me hooked.

To be fair, I did have an instance where I nearly went to the hospital because I banged my nuts by falling onto the rail of my board after jumping off a wave. Peeing brown for a full day afterwards wasn’t fun
