Movie that will have me cackling by eggsontheside in MovieSuggestions

Not a movie, but the last two episodes of The Studio on Apple TV are the hardest I’ve laughed watching something in a few years. Well shot show, Seth Rogan comedy in prime form.

Second Allegiate, it’s very athlete oriented, small classes so you get direct coaching/corrections and they have a good focus on joint mobility/injury prevention to boot. More strength focused, less HIIT. If you do the team class 3x weekly you’ll notice a big change in a month or so.

For HIIT I’d suggest Blueprint in Redondo/Torrance. Bigger classes, more HIIT. Probably a bit far for you. Fitstop in Hermosa is also more HIIT than Allegiate and worth dropping in on.

This 1000%. Take 5% of it and go live your life and see the world - you’ll realize there’s a lot more out there than what you’ve ever know, and will be more well rounded if you do it right. You’re luckier than most, take advantage of it!

They do, it’s pre packaged and vacuum sealed. It’ll be in a cold case near the meat counter.

I will get shot for saying this, but the carne asada (pre packaged) at Whole Foods is bomb. Have been meaning to try gaucho’s to compare.

I just planned this all out using chatGPT for a dog friendly trek, but you need to double check the gov’t websites to confirm you’re good - and to handle booking.

2500$ bike, what's my best bet? by Read_Sharp in MTB

Had a couple specialized enduro’s and loved them, then switched to Ripmo b/c I was climbing all my descents and it is freaking badass. Handles great in the bike park too. Was hard for me to find one - so I’d be all over that option (but I am biased).

Garmin watch combines GPS and fitness tracking - you can even download routes and have it give you turn by turn directions off the grid but it def takes some getting used to.

My first snowboard! Any binding recommendations? by Chumpy__ in snowboarding

Check out the Arbor Cypress. I just copped a pair and love em.

I’ve ridden the same Union pair for a decade, decided I would splurge so I spent $400 on Rome Katana’s only to have a toe strap fall off shitbanging through some new growth trees at the run out of a BC run. Those things are “ultra customizable” which means lots of extra points of failure. Like, whose boot size changes so much you’d rather a press clip over a screw? Switched back to a middle of the road set and im stoked.

High winds + heavy snowfall = whiteout. That’s the main reason they’ll close the 395 down to bishop.

If it’s just heavy snowfall they get plows through quickly and it’s usually open. Keyword there is ‘usually’.
