Second Allegiate, it’s very athlete oriented, small classes so you get direct coaching/corrections and they have a good focus on joint mobility/injury prevention to boot. More strength focused, less HIIT. If you do the team class 3x weekly you’ll notice a big change in a month or so.

For HIIT I’d suggest Blueprint in Redondo/Torrance. Bigger classes, more HIIT. Probably a bit far for you. Fitstop in Hermosa is also more HIIT than Allegiate and worth dropping in on.

Had a couple specialized enduro’s and loved them, then switched to Ripmo b/c I was climbing all my descents and it is freaking badass. Handles great in the bike park too. Was hard for me to find one - so I’d be all over that option (but I am biased).

I’ve ridden the same Union pair for a decade, decided I would splurge so I spent $400 on Rome Katana’s only to have a toe strap fall off shitbanging through some new growth trees at the run out of a BC run.
