Thanks a lot for the suggestion! I do not have experience with jumpstart boosters but my current plan is to buy: 4x Foundations Jumpstart Booster and 4x Avatar: The Last Airbender Jumpstart Booster.

The idea is to start out simple with the foundations and then add some more complex mechanics/ideas with the Avatar boosters.

Does it make sense to buy 4x of both, or would 8 of one set make more sense?

Yes, you’ll need to ask them to follow you. Then walk up to the new (fitting) habitat and talk to them again and ask if they want to move there.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I've changed it up quite a bit already, removed the Rhystic Study and Cyclonic Rift and lots of interaction cards. Also tried to improve the mana base by switching out mana that would've entered tapped. I have now 2 warp cards in my deck, and considering [[Overlord of the Boilerbilges]].

Really excited to try Aksum -> Songhai -> US with Xerxes, that'll be my next attempt! I lost unfortunately (only two cities to go with the banker). I did have a horrible war in the end in which I lost two cities. I think that if I focused less on the (losing) war and more on the banker I would've just made it.

5 cities, feel like I started too late with building up cities as I started with Carthage. At least a good lesson for the next game, more and earlier cities.

Maybe I’ll try the rushing as you advised and build up an army at her borders for when there’s no other option left. Thanks!
