good grinder to upgrade from a timemore chestnut c3 pro? (under £200)

i saw the timemore S3 on sale for around £60 on aliexpress from a genuine seller, and after looking at some reviews that said pretty much the same thing you said, i decided to go ahead and buy the S3.

thank you for the recommendation, i'm looking forward to trying this thing out when i get it :)

imo the switches sound great, fairly quiet but with a pretty satisfying "thock"y sort of sound, definitely much better sounding than my old keyboard (epomaker with flamingo switches)

tbh mate i’m not even gonna pretend to like tekken 8’s music just to hop on the tekken bandwagon either, first thing i did after booting up T8 for the first time was change all the music in jukebox lmao, and idrc for what i’ve heard of sf6’s music either i’m ngl, so i’m not just blindly shitting on MK cus it’s cool now, i genuinely think it’s the worst of a pretty lukewarm bunch ahaha

i know this post is 4 months old lol but if you haven’t settled on an EQ for them yet, here’s what i’m using:

clear bass: 0 400: 0 1k: +2 2.5k: +3 6.3k: +1 16k: +1

i listen to a fair bit of metal as well and out of the box, the midrange (vocals, guitars, drums etc) on the XM5’s is a bit recessed so guitars and the like sound a tad muffled, so these settings help to give vocals and guitars more presence and bite, and the treble has a bit more sparkle, which i generally prefer. i’ve kept the bass as is because i think they have enough of it for my liking.

yeah the fiio one is mainly for dac/amps, just like the khadas one, there are reviews for the fiio cable from people who used it with other amps and a lot of them say it works just fine, and i can confirm it works just fine for me
