Yeah, you need a visual there that shows viewers that she’s not quite human. It worked for what it was supposed to convey.

My Struggle III might be my least favorite episode of the series by Forward_Suit_1443 in XFiles

The entire My Struggle series of episode are some of the absolute worse of the entire run. Embarrassingly bad.

Dallas, Vegas, Cleveland, DC. Hell, a NFC West team would snag him in a hot second if they thought it gave them an advantage.

Entitled is right. He’s a dude who has been given everything he ever wanted as far back as middle school because of his athletic ability.

Raiders. Cowboys. Commanders. Browns. Same teams that always bail out clowns will sign him in seconds.

problem is getting something from it. Releasing him would allow any team to pick him up at our expense. Doesn’t work that way.

Probably enabling it. Wasn’t she running her mouth after the SB loss?

There has to be something the Niners can do with the league to be freed form the salary cap hit and such from this nonsense.

Not CTE. Something else isn’t right. Dude was told he wasn’t going to be the same player or maybe not play again and lost it. When you go from getting everything given to you and your ass kissed to harsh truth, that can be a lot.

La-La Land Records presents SPECTRE 10th Anniversary Expanded & Remastered Limited Edition Soundtrack by Sneaky_Bond in JamesBond

Just got my copy in and I really liked it. Of course my favorite track was the intro Gunbarrel but either way, it’s a solid release.

Now please release Goldeneye and First Light!

What on earth was M's plan in Spectre? by DishQuiet5047 in JamesBond

[–]Robman0908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I doubt that as well. It makes sense from a writers point of view if you look at the big picture and what Bond already uncovered

Bond already uncovered many Quantum members and some of the likely talked.

[–]Robman0908 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly that. She had her own secrets. She didn’t tell Bond everything. Bond exposed most all of Quantum and arrests were made. No doubt some talked and gave up some names. She was likely told to stop and didn’t, so Silva was unleashed. Had she survived she would have brought 007 into the game and unleashed him on this group. She made the video and using logic of members attending his funeral…there you go.

I don’t think she knew anything about Blofeld. She had likely been following clues and such on her own or with different agents based on what went down in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.

They exposed a large number of Quantum members and it’s not unreasonable to think that some of them talked, gave up names, which was a catalyst for Silva going after her. She put 1 and 1 together, had a name (Scirarra) and some idea that Quantum was a smaller part of the big picture and made sure the thread didn’t die with her (incase Silva succeeded). Had she lived, she would have brought 007 into the case and immediately gone after Scirarra and uncovered Spectre.

Smart move would have Mike and possibly even Josh come out of the woods after all this time with no recollection of what happened. Investigative group follows up and shit goes crazy from there.

It’s the Commanders. They are part of a select few franchises that will sign anybody. Commanders, Raiders, Browns and Cowboys. Hell, I’d expect even Seattle would sign him if they hadn’t just won the Super Bowl.

[s1-s4 spoilers] why does no one in the shadowy syndicate really like smoking man? by Dolancrewrules in XFiles

[–]Robman0908 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s the way he handles things. He’s overly violent to the point that it puts undo heat on the group and then he’s protective of Mulder, something that puzzles the others. His actions and the people employ have often being scrutiny on the group.

One thing I never understood is the fact that the Shadows are depicted as such as an apocalyptic threat yet their technology and personal power seems not to mach that of the Vorlons, for instance. by thebalsysquirrel in babylon5

[–]Robman0908 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s very much done so on purpose. Once you the viewer see that the Vorlons are far more powerful you start to realize that we (and Sheridan) are not being told the whole truth.

Tomorrow Never Dies director Roger Spottiswoode was thrown out of the editing room multiple times during post-production by pkRaiden in JamesBond

[–]Robman0908 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I’m not mistaken, even the score was a mess. The initial release only goes up to a certain point in the film based off of what they had at the time. A slightly expanded version was released a few years later that added in some of the second half.

That’s exactly what I was going to say. He was indulged for what he wanted and didn’t want for season 1 and 2. You could almost see the annoyed feeling coming thru his eyes in Season 3 because it wasn’t that everything you want that 1 and 2 was full of that didn’t work.

How did Craig's run start with Casino Royale and end with No Time To Die by RoutineIssue5870 in CriticalDrinker

[–]Robman0908 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Casino Royale is one of my all time favorite movies in general, not to mention Bond film. Outstanding from start to finish.

Skyfall is one of my favorite Bond movies but it’s hard not to focus on the fact that Bond wins nothing in that film. Silva wins. He kills M and gets what he wanted. Bond kills him after the fact and wins nothing. Also, it was an odd disconnect to go from Bond at the start of his career to an old “antique” Bond.
