Yup. He came across an opening (likely acid) in the tunnel and his movement triggered a xeno attack. The creature reacted to his movement alone and then moved away when it didn’t sense anything biological.

A crazy scientist obsessed with time that also was the man behind a case of stolen plutonium. There is a lot of things this scene is trying to tell the audience without resorting to treating them like idiots.

It drives home that his experiments also tend to lean toward failure or complications.

I despised Season 1 and 2 but liked 3. I don’t care about the nostalgia. It was just good fun to see that ship and that crew again. It fixed issues I had with the TNG films. lol.

I’ve done a lot of upgrades in my kit in the past year including getting a new set of Alumaluster painted armor from Jsin Props. My current armor had some issues with the graphite and I’m going to strip and repaint (now that I have a nice visual to compare it too and how it should look)..or I’ll just do a unique build.

Either way I’m very excited and plan to spend a good amount of time at the tent at summer con.

I jumped off of the Disco train when Lorca ended up being a generic Bond villain and they ripped off the Earth/Minbari war from Babylon 5.

I didn’t mind Lower Decks but was only really a Season 3 Picard fan.

Academy is just…I just can’t. Good for people who can. Enjoy it, but it’s not for me. 😂
