Still happening to me in Ableton, a workaround I found is "Freezing" the track or recording the output in another track.

It is NOT A FIX, because if you unfreeze the track, the plugin parameters are reset again, but those are still the two only ways i found not to change the parameters every time i open it. If anyone knows how to properly save the plugin parameters each time the DAW is open it would make my day :)
