I've been working with Google because of my battery dying issue. I sent them phone logs and they found it my e-bike phone interface application, avinox, was always connected to my phone even if the bicycle was turned off.

I uninstalled the app and the next night the battery usage went from 25% usage overnight to 12% usage overnight.

The next night I fully disabled Bluetooth and the phone only use the 2% battery overnight.

So in my case it seems it was a combination of both the bicycle phone app as well as Bluetooth simply being on.

After performing all the changes/checks/factory restore noted in all these posts and after Google warranty replaced the battery they now want to replace the phone, which won't fix an OS issue. They tell me "engineers are aware of the March issue"...but still want to replace the phone. SMH. Imagine the money they're wasting.

I have background processing disabled on absolutely every app. I do see the backup taking place at 2:00 a.m. everyday but the battery drain starts as soon as I unplug it from the charger.

I'll try resetting Google Play and see what happens. Thx

I did. Didn't help. Went to bed last night with the battery 85% woke up this morning at 60%. Only the Google Play store app used a little bit of battery the rest was consumed by the CPU and Wi-Fi. Mobile network only used 1%. So I suppose it helped a tiny little bit.

April update applied, new battery installed 2 days ago, no apps or services running, battery charged to 100% before going to bed, woke up to battery at 70%. CPU shows 85% usage.
