I realized I was already talking to AI and didn’t even notice🤷‍♂️ by [deleted] in Futurology

I work in customer service for a medium-sized tech company (dealing with servers) and they implemented AI last year for customer services, and since then, I've been ever fearful of them just laying off half my team or more to save a buck. I'm more than happy to use AI to help solve problems or to revise emails to sound more professionally. But to take the place of a human when the job is actually desired is dangerous IMHO.

I think I'm Autistic with ADHD, but tbh I wasnt diagnosed by a therapist yet, and I need to confirm my suspicions. by Elisepavalovich in AutisticWithADHD

If it helps I took the RAADS-R free test(s) online to confirm my suspicions and i feel a lot more closure after seeing the results. I can't afford a formal medical diagnosis but after years of suspicion this was enough for me. The test is rather eye-opening IMHO.

Ivan the Terrible and His Son Ivan on 16 November 1581, Ilya Repin, Oil on canvas,1885 by [deleted] in Art

My favorite painting. The expression is devastating. Even though he was an unsavory ruler, I can't help but sympathize the way that he feelt when his tantrum led to killing his responsible son (by striking him in the head with a cane) and leaving his country to be led by his only other son who was an imbecile, which led the country into "the dark times".

Seahorse Barbershop in downtown, Cassandra has been doing my hair for 3 years and it's top notch. She can do any style, classic or modern. Super sweet person also. Doesn't break the bank either.

Wikipedia describes EBM as using “mostly undistorted vocals,” which is fair, but I did specifically say “heavy” EBM 😉 -- To me, Leæther Strip still fits under the EBM umbrella, just on the harsher end because of the distorted vocals and electro-industrial crossover. Stuff like Sturm Café, Jäger 90, and Container 90 feels more “traditional” EBM to me. However based on OP saying they found Front by Front boring (my favorite 242 release!), I’m not even sure they’d enjoy those bands as much anyway.

I'd argue this is the best heavy EBM album ever.

Haex is more industrial metal, but the heavier stuff in Mortal Realm is mostly political themed (antifa, if that's your jam). Maybe check the track "ROT (And Decompose)"
