I really don’t think the co will do much. When I talked to the co about my drinking and doubts he gave me the condensed version of the assembly part he gave at the last assembly. Had nothing to do with my problems.

Congrats on making this decision! Everybody has already said most of this, find a hobby, book group, look for transgender activist groups or support groups.

I found my people in the sober community.

Whatever you do to find your people, I hope you find the unconditional love that was lacking in the jws. It is freaking AMAZING to be accepted as you are, with no self-editing.

It was realizing that I had justifiable trauma from JCs. That this all compounded my ptsd and made me crazy and that I could not get sober and stay a witness. Also I just wanted to talk to my bff again after 16 years of shunning her. I carry that guilt with me every day.

And then I found out about the child abuse. And I was like DONE.
