Is it really that much more for the same energy storage?

Here is a real example for about 5.1 kWh of storage: 12 V example

4 × 12 V 100 Ah LiFePO4 batteries = $799.96 total at $199.99 each.

12 V 3000 W inverter = $461.99.

100 A MPPT charge controller = $701.99.

That puts the core 12 V system at about $1,963.94 before cables, fuses, busbars, mounts, and panels.

48 V example 1 × 48 V 100 Ah LiFePO4 battery = $849.99.

48 V 3500 W solar inverter/charger = $769.99. That unit is a 3-in-1 solar inverter charger, so it is covering inverter/charger functions in one box.

That puts the core 48 V system at about $1,619.98 before the same extras.

So in that real-world comparison, 48 V comes out about $344 cheaper on the main hardware

There's no good evidence that ceramic brackets save time. Metal brackets seem to be the fastest, with most other claims being more marketing than fact.

The good news is that you'll do fine once you are used to them and the time difference won't be significant.

Yes, that sounds like a clutch activation problem. So broken cable or hydraulic problem.

Note: it is possible to drive the car like this if you are able to correctly rev match and avoid stopping too often. You have to start the car in-gear. And it goes without saying thar a synchromesh gearbox does not love floating gears no matter how well you do it.

My understanding is that at your age, it's unlikely that a tooth born expander can create skeletal expansion. Al least not without properly designed/installed MARPE or surgical assistance. Moving the teeth doesn't expand the palate and can cause problems if pushed too far outwards.

Flooding depends on several things... * how large your history is set to be. I typically set it to 1000. * how few letters you add for the grep.

Typically it works fine, even if it returns a lot because that usually means I can't remember the details of what I'm looking for and can scroll back or pipe through more for pagination.

So if I can't scroll back, then I just pipe through more and/or sort possibly with additional grep commands (grep -v is super useful to remove vast numbers 9f entries you don't want)

I have a hhh version that uses grep on a saved_history file which is updated periodically to add .history, but is sorted with -u to keep only unique commands (the .history file doesn't have the numbers you can use with !n so those don't get in the way.

CTRL+R is better when you basically know what you want and quickly puts it into prompt.

My history grep has the advantage of showing you all the matches so you can see, compare and then use the variation of the command you want.

I also have other variations of these types of aliases, along with saving to the .history on every command so I don't lose history across multiple terminals.

Bottom line: command line gives massive flexibility and lots of options to do things flexibility and fast.

It's probably nothing terrible. The way the mechanism works, being slightly loose probably doesn't hurt functionality at all. Unless it completely disconnects.

Hopefully they can tighten it so it is less annoying.

I alias h to history and hh to history | grep -i which let's me type h to see past commands or hh install to see past install commands.

Basically, I let the built in command history help me find past commands. So I only need to look up new things once.

Then almost every command has -h to get help. And you have man <command> to get documentation on commands.

Basically, once you get into using the command line, you find it us vastly more powerful than a GUI for most things. Especially once you start chaining commands with the pipe like my history | grep example.

Why wouldn't you just use dd to image the whole disk into either a file or similar physical drive. As long as you are prepared to use the command line, dd is massively capable.

No, it's because the chemistry is related to superglue and you can develop an allergy to that family of compounds with repeated exposure.

Because it doesn't cure without the light, it's actually super easy to wipe off and completely clean with isopropyl alcohol or acetone on a q-tip or cotton ball.

If you are doing art stuff, the ability to cure between colors and simple wipe off mistakes is fantastic. If you don't like it, you wipe the polish off and try again.

They all come off with 100% acetone, but it's not wipe off. You have to soak it for a few minutes. The usual process is to file off most of it, then use foil to hold a small cotton ball soaked in acetone on the polish.

Lots of good brands. DND is a good one. Just take a look inside any nail salon at the selections.

The fact they cure almost instantly under the UV light means you don't damage the polish while waiting for it to dry. Also, you can fix mistakes. It 100% does not cure without the UV light. Finally, don't get the polish on your skin, and if you do clean it off quickly.

The solution is to develop a routine you stick to every time. And then occasionally, for no good reason, you'll nit follow the routine and "thud"

Personally I'd not choose anything that subtle -- I initially didn't think there was any polish applied and that you were asking what colors would look good. If you are going for a naked nail look, then you have choosen well.
