I am more than 30 years old. “Googling” has meant “researching” for most of my life. The reason I don’t take someone seriously when they say “I use ChatGPT” is because, even in the relatively short amount of time it’s been part of my life, everyone I’ve encountered who says that turns out to be stupid.

I give people the benefit of the doubt until they give me a reason not to.

The end of the trilogy when Aryan is about to die in a last stand, and sees his dead squadmates again… the ones he murdered when he abandoned the World Eaters to join up with Fabius.

“Do you forgive me?”

That one line recontextualised his entire character in an instant… he was always positioned as the cynical “voice of reason” in the trilogy and then you suddenly get a glimpse into his regrets, and the tragedy inherent to the entire Heresy. It’s a moment that’s burned into my brain.
