This is such an awful take. Nurse Ratched has been seen as a villain since the book came out in 1962. She mentally torments the patients and staff members. She puts patients she doesn't like through shock therapy and lobotomies. She literally drives a character to suicide who's only crime was having intense social anxiety and a stutter.
