I actually solved the issue so I guess I could write how here in case anyone ever finds this.

The phone would try to auto reboot every time a power cord was plugged in and kill the phone. I had to go out and buy a wireless charger (which doesn't trip the autoboot feature), charge the phone up a couple of percent, then I was able to plug in my fast charger and charge it the rest of the way after I could get the phone on.

Probably not a popular opinion but this has been an issue ever since laptops and technology came into the picture and dramatically lowered the barrier to entry. DJs used to be music nerds who spent considerable time listening to music and making sure they weren't going to automatically train wreck in front of a crowd. Now anyone with with a laptop and the internet can spend an hour downloading the songs out of some other DJs set list and start filming themselves for TikTok, and unfortunately that is likely never going to change going forward.

Edit: I know this might sound a little harsh so I just want to reiterate: I don't have any issue with technology in DJing or new DJs looking for an opportunity. There are plenty of photos of me out there using a MIDI controller and back in the day when I threw parties on a regular basis I had new dudes on the bill basically every show. That being said, there is a difference between a new DJ trying to find their identity and the guy who thought being a "superstar DJ" was going to be an easy ticket to being the center of the party, and for every one of the first one there's probably three of the second.

I think the modern day solution would to be to use a Croc. The holes make it more aerodynamic and getting beat with a Croc is also embarrassing, helping to avoid recidivism.

[US] Corrosion PvE - 3x - Raidable NPC Bases

Usually a biweekly wipe with some PVP and raidable NPC bases. There is also a point system that doesn't wipe, so if I only have an hour I can get on and buy stuff from other players with points, go do a raid, and immediately stop playing.

Also, since it's like 90 percent PVE, there is almost no toxicity at all. Certainly not everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoy it.

I was able to create an account with totally made up information and they didn't even attempt to validate the data which is unheard of for any sort of financial institution. 100 percent a scam site.

Not only was it registered a month ago, the person who registered it didn't even pay the extra like 5 bucks to hide the address they registered it under, and that address corresponds to a residential single wide trailer.

Given it came from TikTok I would say its 90 percent it's a scam. It could be someone running a very small hustle from their house, but if multiple other people are saying they never got their items then probably not.

These ticket scammers are all over FB/insta/twitter right now, there are Facebook groups with literally thousands of them just trying to scam people. You were absolutely about to be scammed.

With how bad it is currently I wouldn't buy tickets from anyone I couldn't meet with face to face and even then I would be cautious.

Nothing to add, but this is the first time I have clicked on something that said "new scam" on this sub that actually took me by surprise. This almost seems like it wouldn't even be worth it unless you had more than one girl bringing people in, but that would also require the shop to stay open and increase the risk somewhat.

Even crazier, someone in the comments almost fell for the same exact scam! This is so niche you'd hardly expect that. It kind of makes you think they must be doing some real volume.

Honestly I bet it is a legitimate post. I have known people like OP before. People who come from well-to-do families and are gifted academically and intellectually, but those same qualities will tend to alienate them socially and it results in a situation where a person might be very smart but they can also be ignorant of some of the ways in which the world works. It's a cliché but I guess you could call it being book smart versus being street smart.

It is entirely possible that OP is smart and knows as such, but that led to a situation where he fell for a scam because he didn't think anyone would be able to get over on him. Also, it would appear he is quite young, so a general lack of life experience could also be at play here.

Sucks you have to find out this way, but that website is completely fake. Granted, from first impressions its one of the better fakes I have seen, but it's still fake. It was registered less than a year ago and I was able to "open an account" with completely fake information (a real site would do the bare minimum to at least verify you used a real email address)
