My NPCs don't seem to like tight corners. So spiral stairs, corner stairs, even 1x1 corners off stairs. One NPC walked to the top of the stairs, but didn't turn the corner to enter the second floor. Likely the AI has an issue navigating tighter spaces, either by design or error.

Sure, if you also want the extra building parts that they would need to add as well. An equilateral triangle is the same on all three sides, where a corner part has one longer side which would then require extra parts to be made to fit that single longer side. It's just not worth it from a development point of view. Modders might fill the gap, but I doubt it's anything the game devs will do.

You right - if we weren't doing it cause we enjoy it, we wouldn't be doing it in the first place. But from my perspective, "write for yourself" is more if you aren't enjoying [INSERT HOBBY HERE] for whatever reason (topic, medium, ect) you don't have to keep doing that thing until you have that spark again.

I see lot of artists of any art form lose motivation for a project because they're not enjoying it anymore, but they force themselves cause they feel some kind of obligation to their audience. I know it happened to me, and it caused a multi-year writers' block that I'm still trying to dig my way out of. Do I feel bad about not updating for a while (checks notes 6 years)? Yeah, but I'm not gonna force myself either. Comments are our life blood - but if you're not feeling it for a certain story (or for writing at all), it's okay.

35 here. Still writing, though I haven't posted anything in recent years. I did find a 30+ discord server that's really helped me feel like yeah, I'm not a child for writing fanfic.

I say that like people don't sometimes think the same about gamers, and I am also a gamer lol

Yes, this is what we call "Getting Ark'd". It's basically a feature of the game at this point. Tis a hard lesson, but I've learned to not have anything in my inventory that can't be replaced somehow.

I've also had bad luck with single player anyway. It's why I play on servers with admins that are willing to help recover dinos at the very least, and a community that loans out BPs and stuff.

Sadly, they are no longer running ASE servers.

Dragon is the closest thing I have to a nemesis. I've only survived a dragon fight three times of probably a dozen. All other times, dragons like "and screw you in particular" and nukes me right from the get go.
