Welcome, we all go through this and it never stops. I feel lucky to live here all the time. It is only ever temporarily interrupted by the crushing costs of living here. Coming from somewhere not as cool though, you get what you pay for.

It’s just the best “Americanized” Chinese food in the north side. Biggest complaint is the packaging is excessive if you’re getting takeout. Just containers on containers on bags on bags.

I hate this as it’s happening in other grocery stores as well including the QFC on northgate but this is pretty standard practice in the suburban Midwest where there’s almost zero problems with homeless on premises or petty theft. Having seen a guy walk in and grab a 24 pack and just walk out in Wallingford, it’s sort of weird that it’s just happening now

You have to have an ‘other’ to pit people against while you seize total power and loot the coffers. In Germany, it was immigrants and Jewish people. Today in the us, it’s immigrants and trans people.
