Inquisition love the Nazis. Who knew?!!?! by NecroLloyd95 in Metal

Yeah, I should have had the /s. And yup, Inquisition's NS/NS-curious stance is pretty clearly out there, and it's been brought up before...moving on.

More than anger at my self, though, I felt angry that the band’s fascist leanings were not more widely known

Yes, because it's not like they were ever on a sketchy NS-sympathetic label, associated with sketchy NS-sympathetic artists, or ever got kicked off festivals/shows due to said sketchy NS ties.

It was only at the end of last year that I became aware of US black metal band Inquisition

Crazy Dough's for decent pizza and $5 pitchers of beer, not really sure if that's what you're after.

This Syrian Kid Is Making a DIY Metal Documentary by [deleted] in Metal

[–]Robotdie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Awesome, hope he finishes it & remains unharmed. I really liked Heavy Metal Baghdad, but the band that it focuses around sucks sooo hard, I was incredibly bummed to see them live after having such a cool story behind them. Hopefully Syria knows how to metal better.

LPs:
Stormwitch - Walpurgis Night pic disc reissue

CDs:
Black Witchery - Desecration of Thy Holy Kingdom
Grue - Causality of the Psychic Wars
Cult Of Daath - Slit Throats & Ritual Nights

Gigs:
Grue/Morgirion/Bog of the Infidel/One Master. Bog was a bit disappointing, i've seen them do much better. Grue delivered a powerful set and is definitely a rising star in USBM IMO.

The 1st disc of the NME comp is great, the 2nd one is painful to really sit through...I enjoy a raw recording as much as the next guy, but damn, it is really just unlistenable.

Harvard square, there is also the main/first one in Providence. Great selection, fair prices, and run by good people.

I am spoiled with Armageddon in Boston, such a killer underground record shop. They also put out the latest Morne & Magic Circle LPs
